Baseball jackets, a great idea for this spring

En Primavera el tiempo nos crea bastante incertidumbre, en muchas ocasiones no sabemos bien que ponernos porque o hace frio, o hace calor, y entonces buscamos las llamadas "chaquetas de entretiempo". Este año, una de las mas populares es la chaqueta de baseball, ¿te suena? / In Spring the weather make us crazy, most of the time we are not sure what to wear because is cool or hot, and then we look for the so call "spring jackets". This year, one of the popular ones is the baseball jacket, did you knew about it?



Aunque ha sido en el 2012 cuando las hemos visto en la calle, en los hombros y brazos de modelos, bloggers y marcadoras de tendencias, fue Alexander Wang quien la presento en la pasarela en su colección Primavera-Verano 2010. Un año mas tarde apareció en las colecciones de otros diseñadores como Isabel Marant, o Barbara Bui. / Even we have seen them on the streets in 2012, worn by models, bloggers and trend setters, was Alexander Wang who introduce them to the runway on his Spring-Summer 201o collection. A year later, they were on the collections of other designers such as Isabel Marant, or Barbara Bui.

Esta chaqueta se esta convirtiendo en el nuevo blazer, y es que últimamente estamos viendo como las prendas deportivas pasan de ser un mero instrumento para realizar una actividad, a formar parte de la moda mas cool. / This jacket is fast becoming the new blazer. Lately, we have seen how sportswear turn from been only a useful thing to do an activity, to be part of the coolest fashion.  




Pero ¿de donde viene esta moda? / But from where this come from? 
La referencia mas conocida es el musical Grease, donde las chicas populares del instituto; las "Pink Ladies", se identifican por llevar chaquetas de baseball color rosa. Actualmente surgieron el musical High School Musical y la serie Glee, donde esta prenda también ha estado muy presente en el estilismo de sus protagonistas. Ademas tambien la hemos visto en otras series como en Pretty Little Liars. / The most popular reference is the Grease Musical, where the popular gang, the "Pink Ladies",  use as uniform of their group a pink baseball jacket. Also was lunch High School Musical and the TV show Glee, where this garment was very present in the characters looks. Plus we have seen them too in other series such as Pretty Little Liars.

Algunas ideas, que no fallan. / Few ideas, it won't fell.  1. Con ropa vaquera, siempre pega. / With denim, always looks great.




  2. En el campo quedan divinas. / At the countryside always work.


3. Le da un toque adolescente. / It give a teenager touch. 



4. Se una trendsetter y pontelo con un look lady. / Be a trendsetter and wear it with a lady look.


 Ellas tambien han caido. / They also have fallen.
