Hola a tod@s!
¿Qué tal va ese comienzo de verano?
Mi comienzo de verano ha sido un poco vago, he estado como una semana o dos off, con ganas de no hacer nada en absoluto y redescubrir cuán blandito puede ser el sillón o la cama. Pero ya he vuelto, con energías y ganas de aprovechar el verano y el buen tiempo!
Así que, continuando con la Matson hoy he empezado Amy&Roger Epic Detour (un road-trip) y he de decir que me lo voy a acabar enseguida, pero con un dolor en el pecho increíble. Morgan Matson ha logrado que esté emocionada desde la página 10 y así sigo, de momento el libro va genial y me está encantando, la prosa de esta mujer es arrolladora.
En este caso, el primer párrafo tampoco dice mucho del libro, pero os lo dejo aquí:

I sat on the front steps of my house and watched the beige Subaru station wagon swing too quickly around the cul-de-sac. This was a rookie mistake, one made by countless FedEx guys. There were only three houses on Raven Crescent, and most people had never remembered and would always just swing around the circle again before pulling into owr driveway. Rather than using this technique, the Subaru stopped, brake lights flashing red, then white as it backed around the circle and stopped in front of the house. Our driveway was short enough that I could read the car's bumper stickers: MY SON WAS RANDOLPH HALL'S STUDENT OF THE MONTH AND MY KID AND MY $$$ GO TO COLORADO COLLEGE. There were two people in the car talking, doing the awkward car-conversation thing where you still have seat belts on, so you can't fully turn and face the other person.

Este libro, también os digo, tiene una edición espectacular, tanto en español como en inglés, porque tiene imágenes de recuerdos del viaje que realizan los personajes y OMG, me encanta!
Seguro que me lo acabo en nada, estoy disfrutando mucho de su lectura. Ya os contaré.
