Color crazy ii: blue

Si la semana pasada os hablaba del amarillo esta nos toca el azul. El azul es uno de los colores preferidos por mucha gente, seguramente se deba a que trasmite tranquilidad, serenidad, y a la vez es un tono muy refrescante. / If last week I told you about yellow this one we are going with blue. Blue is a color favorite of many people, probably due to the sensations it transmit: calmness, serenity plus is a very refreshing tone.

Las colecciones de los diseñadores esta temporada están llenas de color, y obviamente no se podían olvidar de uno tan bonito como el azul. Y lo bueno es que este color tiene tantos tonos distintos, que tenemos para elegir porque se lleva el azul regata, el azul curacao (que es un azul tropical, muy similar al turquesa) y el azul klein. / The designers collections this season are full of color and obviously they couldn't forget such a beautiful color; the blue. And the best is that this color has so many different tones, so we can chose because the following blues are in: the racer blue, the navy manivong (that is a tropical blue, very similar to turquoise) and the klein blue.

El azul que favorece a casi todo el mundo es el conocido como azul klein. Pero os contaré brevemente la historia de este tono. El color toma el nombre del pintor francés Yves Klein, que fue considerado como una de las figuras más importantes del neo-Dadaismo. A finales de 1950 las obras de Klein se centraron en un azul intenso que patentó como International Klien blue o azul Klein, y en la actualidad también se conoce como azul style porque algunas de las grandes firmas de moda han decidido darle este sobrenombre. / The blue that favors almost everyone is known as klein blue. I'll tell you shortly the story of this color. The tone its name after the French painter Yves Klein, who was consider one of the most important figures of the neo-Dada movement. In late 1950 the paintings of Klein focused on an intense blue that he patented as International Klein blue, and know its also known as blue style because some of the big fashion houses have decided to give it this nickname took. 


El azul es un color perfecto para el día y para la noche. Pero si tienes que elegir, escoge los más claros para el día y los más oscuros como el klein o marino para la noche. De todos modos, todos son aceptables en verano para cualquier momento del día, lo mejor es que juegues con los tejidos, ya sabes las sedas, los satenes y demás para la noche y el resto para el día. / Blue is a perfect color for the day and teh evening. But if you got to chose, wear lighter blues during the day and darker onces as klein or navy for the evening. In any case, all are acceptable on summer for any time of the day, the best is to play with the fabrics, you already know, silk, satin and especial fabrics for the evening and the rest for the day.




Combina el azul con... / Mix blue with...

1. Azul + Naranja / Blue + Orange

El naranja queda muy chic combinado con un azul fuerte; el klein, el marino y el eléctrico son los más adecuados. Le dan un toque muy chic a cualquier estilismo. / Orange looks so chic mix with a strong blue, such as klein, navy or electric. It give it a chic touch to any outfit.


Cruz Castillo SS 20112. Azul + Amarillo. / Blue + Yelow.

El amarillo queda muy estiloso con un azul fuerte, con un tono de azul muy claro no crea el mismo contraste. Si no os atreveís con el amarillo hacedlo a modo de complementos porque queda divino. / Yellow look very stylish with a strong blue, with a light blue it doesn't make the same contrast. If you don't dare with yellow, mix it with an accessory, it looks divine. 


 
3. Azul + Rosa fuerte o fucsia. / Blue + strong Pink or fuchsia.
  Cuanto más fuerte sea el rosa, más fuerte tendrá que ser el azul. Es como una regla de 3, así de sencillo. / The stronger the pink is, the stronger has to be the blue. Its as a rule of 3, that simple. 



 4. Azul + verde. / Blue + green.

Os voy a ser sincera, esta es la combinación que menos me convence, pero lo cierto es que un verde fuerte con un azul eléctrico queda muy estiloso (como en la imagen de arriba). Con tonos más claros, no llego a verlo del todo, pero os dejo unas imágenes para que decidaís por vosotros mismos. / I'll be honest, this is the combination that convince me less, but the truth is that a strong green with a electric blue (as the image above) looks very stylish. With lighter shades, I fail to see it all but hear I leave you a few image so you can judge for yourselves.

5. Azul + Rojo. / Red + blue. 

Es una combinación muy atrevida, que da seguridad a quien la lleva. En teoría son tonos que no pegan entre sí, pero a mi me encanta el efecto que generan. Bueno a las que me lleváis siguiendo durante un tiempo sabreis que me encanta el rojo para vestir porque favorece muchísimo. / Its a very daring combination that give confidence to the person who wears them. In theory, they are colors that doesn't hit with each other, but  I love the effect they create. For those of you that follow me for a while you might know that red is one of my favorite colors to dress because it works very well. 


 
6. Azul + Azul. / Blue + Blue.

El efecto que crea es ideal. Lo mejor es combinarlo con el mismo tono, o jugar y mezclarlo con alguna prenda denim. / The effect it creates its gorgeous. The best is to mix it with the same tone or play and blend it with a denim garment. 



Must have: blue pumps.

La prenda por excelencia esta temporada para llevar en azul son los zapatos, y si son en ante o terciopelo mejor. ¡El efecto es ideal! / The garment to wear this season in blue are pumps, and of they are in suede or velvet even better. The effect is gorgeous! 



Ellas también van de azul. / They also wear blue.
