Cómo son los patrones base del traje de flamenca

Estas primeras semanas de este blog, los post serán de contendidos básicos que debemos conocer antes de plantarnos a diseñar y confeccionar un traje de flamenca.

¿Por qué el traje de flamenca tiene un patrón base?

El traje de flamenca tiene unas características muy concretas. Al ser un vestido tan ceñido, es necesario crear ciertas costuras para poder adaptarlo al cuerpo lo mejor posible. Se puede utilizar un patrón base con pinzas como un vestido normal, pero el resultado ya no sería el ideal. Además, al ser un vestido que se reutiliza varias temporadas por sus precios elevados, debe ser fácil la readaptación si cambian los cuerpos o se prestan a otras personas.

¿Cuáles son las piezas fundamentales del patrón base de flamenca?

• Pieza central delantera. Se corta una vez (x1). Se coloca al lomo, es decir con la tela doblada.
• Costadillo delantero. Se corta dos veces (x2). Da la forma al pecho.
• Pieza espalda. Se corta dos veces (x2). Va colocada la cremallera.
• Costadillo espalda. Se corta dos veces (x2). Esta costura sirve para dar forma a la curvatura de la columna vertebral.
• Manga flamenca. Se corta dos veces (x2).
• Falda de nejas. Se corta dos veces (x6). También se puede cortar de media capa o capa entera. Según el vuelo deseado. No obstante la más común es la primera.

Estas son las piezas básicas desde donde partimos para realizar nuestros diseños. Después de tener estos patrones, la imaginación no tiene límites mientras se respenten una serie de puntos importantes, de los cuáles hablaremos en otro post más detenidamente.Gracias por leer. ***

Why the flamenco dress has based patterns?

The flamenco dress has very specific characteristics. It is a tight dress, for that you need to create some seams to fit the body better. You can use a basic pattern with darts as a normal dress, but the result would not be the ideal. Also, it is a dress that is weared several seasons by high prices, it should be easy retrofitting if they change bodies or lend to others.

What are the basic building blocks of flamenco pattern?

•    Front center piece. It is cut once (x1). It is placed at the back, in the edge with the folded fabric.
•    Front side piece. It is cut twice (x2). It gives the form to the chest.
•    Back piece. It is cut twice (x2). It is placed zipper.
•    Back side piece. It is cut twice (x2). This seam serves to shape the curvature of the spine.
•     Flamenco sleeve. It is cut twice (x2).
•    Panels skirt. It is cut twice (x6). You can also cut circle or double circle skirt. Depending on the desired skirt flare. But the most common is the first one.

These are the basic patterns from which we started to make our designs. After having these patterns, imagination has no limits while you respect a number of important points, which we'll talk in more detail in another post.
