Cova d´en Xoroi ................ Menorca

Cuenta una leyenda que un día llegó a la cueva el único superviviente de un naufragio y se instaló en ella para refugiarse. Con el tiempo, este náufrago llamado Xoroi conoció a una joven  que vivía en las casas de campo cercanas, un día la chica desapareció…Pasaron los años, una fuerte nevada cubrió la isla dejando entrever un camino de pisadas que bajaban hasta la gruta. Varios hombres armados siguieron las huellas hasta encontrar a un hombre, una mujer y a sus tres hijos. Xoroi se sintió acorralado y se lanzó al mar, seguido de su hijo mayor............... ya nunca mas se supo de ellos. Se cuenta que su mujer y los otros dos hijos fueron trasladados a Alaior, donde siguieron el curso de su vida..........Un lugar mágico que debes de visitar si vas a Menorca..A legend says that one day became the sole survivor of a shipwreck cave and settled in her shelter. Over time, this Castaway called Xoroi met a young woman who lived in the nearby cottages, one day the girl disappeared...Years passed, a strong snowfall covered the island, hinting at a way of stepping down to the Grotto. Several armed men followed the footprints to find a man, a woman and her three children. Xoroi felt cornered and threw into the sea, followed by his eldest son... already anymore he learned of them. He is told that his wife and two other children were transferred to Alaior, which followed the course of his life...
