Empieza la IV Ruta del Cocido Madrileño | The IV Cocido Madrileño Route begins

Si el mes de noviembre se lo dedicaron muchos restaurantes de Madrid a los callos, ahora empieza la temporada de cocido madrileño, el plato más representativo de la cocina madrileña. En esta IV Ruta del Cocido Madrileño participan casi una treintena de restaurantes en toda la Comunidad de Madrid, desde Guadarrama hasta Chinchón, por supuesto pasando por el centro. 
Estos restaurantes además de ofrecer durante todo el mes sus mejores cocidos, participan entre ellos en un concurso, en el que cada persona que pruebe un cocido en uno de ellos, debe puntuarlo en las categorías de Mejor Cocido, Mejores Garbanzos, Mejor Caldo de Cocido, Mejor Vuelco de Carne. Adicionalmente se realizará un sorteo entre todos los votantes cuyo ganador se llevará su peso en vino, aceite y garbanzos de Madrid y un lote de cafés Pozo. Y entre todos los participantes se sortearán invitaciones a cocido madrileño. 
El 14 de febrero se inaugura esta fiesta culinaria con la entrega de los premios de la ruta 2013, en la cual habrá una degustación de cocidos (cómo no) y de vinos de D.O. Madrid. Para los que quieran ir a lo seguro, los ganadores del año pasado fueron estos: 

• Premio al Mejor Cocido: Malacatín 
• Premio a los Mejores Garbanzos: Casa Carola 
• Premio al Mejor Caldo de Cocido: La Bola 
• Premio al Vuelco de Carne: La Chimenea 

Algunos de los restaurantes que participan son Casa Carola (que ofrece copa de cava, croquetas, cocido de tres vuelcos, postre, café y licor, El café de la Ópera con cocido de tres vuelcos y leche frita, Los Galayos o Bodegas Ricardo Benito. The IV Cocido Madrileño Route begins

If in November many restaurants in Madrid dedicated the month to sticky casseroles, now begins the season of the Cocido Madrileño the most representative dish of Madrid´s cuisine. In this IV Route of the Cocido Madrileño will participate almost thirty restaurants from the whole Community of Madrid, from the Guadarrama mountain chain to Chinchón, and of course, from the center of the city. These restaurants will do their best with their Cocido Madrileño,because they participate in a contest, in which each person who tries a stew in one of them, can rate it in the categories of Best Chickpeas, Best Broth, best Meat and Best Stew. In addition there will be a raffle among all voters whose winner will win his/her weight in wine, oil and chickpeas from Madrid and a set of Pozo coffee. The rest of the voters will participate in a raffle to win some invitations to Cocido Madrileño. The IV Route of the Cocido Madrileño begins on the 14th of February with the award ceremony of last year winners, where there also be tastings of Cocido Madrileño and some Madrilian wines. For those who don´t want to risk it, last year's winners were these:

• Best Broth: La Bola
• Best Meat: La Chimenea
