First date

Yesterday, while I was finishing a really boring college assignment that I had to do for today, I tried to picture myself in a nicer place doing something more relaxing and fun than what I was doing and I started thinking that it would be fun to create a date-appropriate outfit. Well, I´m as bad as the next girl picking an outfit for a date: I get too excited and I get stuck; so to speed things up I put on some music and let myself go. Then, after an hour or so thinking that I don´t want to look very uptight, classy and neither too distressed (and of course I don´t want to show off that I spent an hour picking that ensemble), this was the result. A pair of lace trousers, a cool T-shirt and to give it some style, a statement choker and a printed flower jacket. I´m sorry, but I´m not a fan of high heels on the first date.Ayer, mientras terminaba de hacer un trabajo aburridísimo para la universidad que tenía que presentar hoy, intenté imaginarme haciendo algo más divertido y relajante que lo que estaba haciendo y me pareció divertido crear un look apropiado para una cita.
Lo primero de todo es que, al igual que el resto de chicas del mundo, se me da fatal encontrar algo que ponerme para una cita: me ilusiono un montón y me atasco; por lo que, para acelerar un poco el proceso, me pongo algo de música y me dejo llevar. De modo que, después de una hora pensando que no quiero ir ni muy puesta, ni muy clásica, ni tampoco desaliñada (y por supuesto que no se note que he tardado toda una hora en decidir que me pongo), éste es el resultado. Unos pantalones bordados de encaje, una camiseta sencilla y, para poner la nota de estilo, un collar vistoso y una chaqueta de estampado floral. Lo siento, pero no estoy de acuerdo con llevar tacones en la primera cita. First date
