Hello everyone! This month I have the honor to be guest designing for "Concord and 9th" and I'm thrilled!!! They always come up with the most amazing products and their May release is no exception. During the next two weeks, I will be showcasing here their new stamps and dies and I'm sure you are going to love every single one of them!!! ;)
Today I'm featuring their new Sophisticated Script Uppercase together with their oh-so-popular Sophisticated Script. Would you like to write like a professional calligrapher? Well, here is your chance to totally "fake it till you make it"! ;)
¡Hola! Este mes tengo el honor de ser diseñadora invitada para "Concord and 9th" y ¡estoy contentísima! Todos los meses sacan productos increíbles y mayo no es una excepción. Durante las próximas dos semanas os voy a enseñar sus nuevos sellos y troqueles en mi blog. ¡¡¡ Os van a encantar!!!
Para las tarjetas de hoy he usado el nuevo abecedario: "Sophisticated Script Uppercase" junto con el popular "Sophisticated Script". ¿Queréis escribir caligrafía como los profesionales? ¡¡¡Pues aquí tenéis la oportunidad de aparentarlo hasta que lo consigáis!!! :)
For my first card I created a watercolor background using Distress inks and stamped a few leaves from the stamp set "Love you. Mean it." in black ink. After that, I stamped the words"Thank you" on white cardstock and cut it using a paper trimmer and my precision scissors. I sticked foam tape behind the sentiment to add dimension to the card and added a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh as a final touch.
Para mi primera tarjeta, he creado un fondo de acuarela con tintas Distress ink y estampado unas hojas del set de sellos "Love you. Mean it." en tinta negra. Después he estampado las palabras "Thank you" en cartulina blanca y lo he recortado usando una guillotina y mis tijeras de precisión. He usado almohadillas de foamy a lo largo del sentimiento para que darle relieve y unos cuantas lentejuelas de Pretty Pink Posh como toque final.
For my second card I also used the stamp set "Love you. Mean it." to create a background with the small flowers and leaves from the set. Then I stamped my sentiment on vellum with Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white. I love adding dimension to my cards, so I stamped a few flowers on white cardstock, fuzzy cut them with my scissors and sticked them on the card using foam tape. As you can see I chose a Spanish sentiment this time, since this is an alphabet you can write absolutely anything you want!!!
En mi segunda tarjeta, también he usado los sellos "Love you. Mean it." para hacer un fondo con las flores y las hojas del set. Después he estampado la palabra "Gracias" en papel vellum con tinta Versamark y lo he embosado en blanco. Me encanta añadir relieve a mis tarjetas, así que he estampado unas cuantas flores en cartulina blanca, las he recortado con mis tijeras y las he pegado en la tarjeta usando almohadillas de foamy. Como veis, esta vez he usado español para el sentimiento, como estos sellos son un abecedario ¡puedes escribir lo que quieras y en el idioma que te apetezca! (siempre que uses letras latinas ;)).
