Guest Designer for Concord and 9th (Day 3)

Hello everyone! I'm back with another Guest Designer post for Concord and 9th and this time I have two projects to share with you featuring the "You've got this" die.

¡Hola a tod@s! Hoy vengo con otra entrada para Concord and 9th y esta vez tengo dos proyectos para enseñaros utilizando el troquel "You've got this".

This die has the perfect size to be almost all that you need to make a card. I love the scripty text and that you can use either the positive or negative part of it and both look equally beautiful! :)

Este troquel tiene el tamaño perfecto para ser casi todo lo que necesitas a la hora de hacer una tarjeta. Me encanta la fuente del texto y cómo puedes usar tanto el negativo como el positivo y los dos quedan igual de bonitos! :)

To make this card, I first created a galaxy on a watercolor piece of cardstock using Winsor and Newton's artist watercolors. When everything was dry, I placed my die on the middle of the panel and die cut the sentiment. I also die cut the same words from craft foam and glued both together to give it dimension. I used die inks for the background and a Copic Colorless Blender to make the effect of the dots. When everything was in place, I added Glossy Accents and waited for it to dry! :)

Para hacer esta tarjeta, primero pinté una galaxia en cartulina acuarelable usando las acuarelas profesionales de Winsor and Newton. Cuando todo mi panel estaba seco, puse el troquel en el medio y troquelé el sentimiento. También troquelé las mismas palabras en un trozo de goma eva y pegué los dos para darle relieve. Para el fondo he usado tintas de Simon Says Stamp y un Copic "Colorless Blender" para hacer el efecto de los puntos. Cuando todo estaba en su sitio he puesto Glossy Accents por encima y ¡he esperado pacientemente a que secara! :)

My second project could also be used as a card, but I decided to make an inspirational frame for my craft room instead :). I made a galaxy again and followed the same process as with the previous card, but this time I also die cut the sentiment in the middle of a white piece of cardstock (previously embossed using a scoring board) and then embedded the words from the watercolor panel in the negative space. I also added Stickless to it, but I just couldn't make it visible in the pictures.

Mi segundo proyecto podría servir como tarjeta, pero en vez de eso decidí hacer un "marco de inspiración" para mi estudio :). He seguido el mismo proceso que con la tarjeta anterior, pero esta vez también he troquelado el sentimiento en el medio de una cartulina blanca (previamente embosada utilizando una tabla plagadora) y después he sustituído las letras blancas por las que había troquelado en medio de la galaxia. También he añadido un poco de purpurina, pero no he coseguido que se vea en las fotos.
