[Inspiration] Cabello / Hair: X-Men Rogue

Me encantan las películas y las caricaturas de X-Men. Mi favoritas siempre fueron Rogue (o Titania como la conocímos en México), con quién me identifiqué inmediatamente por esto de la piel radioactiva (jajaja), y Jane con su melena roja, que traía a Wolverine y a Cíclope cacheteando las banquetas.   Después de tantas variedades de colores, estilos y cortes de cabello por los que he pasado, me volvieron de nuevo las ganas de cambiar de look y me decidí a que Rogue fuese mi inspiración. Así de paso aprovechaba para ver si mi cabello sobrevive otra decoloración hasta el blanco, por aquello de que el color gris ha sido uno de mis favoritos.I like the X-Men movies and cartoons. My two favorite characters were Rogue, with whom I have the crazy skin and common interest for Logan in common, and Jane with her red mane, looking fabulous while catching Wolverine's and Cyclops attention.        After going through a good spectrum of colors and haircuts through my teenage years and adult life, last month I felt again like changing my look, and I decided to once and for all makeX-Men's  Rogue my inspiration, while checking if my hair could survive being bleached to white again, since gray was one of my favorite hair colors.
Así que me puse la pila a documentar mi petición para la estilista, tal vez exagero pero yo suelo llegar a mi cita con fotos de lo que quiero, y por si quedaba duda, de lo que NO quiero. So I got started, and decided to documment what was my inspiration  and exactly what I wanted. You may find me obnoxious, but that is what I usually do when changing hairstyles or hair color, I bring pictures, and just in case even bring pictures of what I DO NOT want. 
Una vez en la silla de la estilista, y con el cabello a media decoloración, Isabel y yo acordamos que la decoloración llegaría hasta donde el cabello aclarara lo más posible sin maltratarse, como ya ocurrió anteriormente que el dañño fue terrible. A pesar de que ya tenía poco más de 6 meses de no pintarme el cabello, y de varios cortes, aun quedaban restos de pigmentos por lo que las cajas de abajo de mi cabello estaban más propensas a maltratarse.Después de tres horas, este fue el resultado... Once in the salon, and with the products working their magic in my hair, Isabel the stylist and I agreed on stopping the bleaching process before any serious damaged could be made to my hair, tryin to achieve the lightest shade but tihout frying it - like it happened with a different stylist before.After three hours of work, these are the results...


Me encantó el efecto logrado y la distribución de las áreas decoloradas, mi cabello no quedó maltratado, y gracias al matizante el color no quedó tan amarillento o naranja como temía que sucediera en la partes donde aún había restos de tintes anteriores. Isabel me ofreció que agendara otra cita para decolorarlo más si así lo deseaba, así que yo me tomé unos días para pensarlo, y básicamente para ver como resultaría mi cabello después de un par de lavadas.I liked the effect achieved, and the design or distribution of the bleached areas, my hair was free of damage, and thanks to the toner my hair did not looked too orange or too yellow as I feared, specially in the previously dyed strands. Isabel, the stylist offered to see me again in a few days to continue the bleaching process if I wanted it to be lighter, so I decided to wait for a couple of washes to see how my hair would react and then book the appointment.
Regrese a la semana, despuès de aplicar un par de veces masacarillas reparadoras y ampolletas, para que Isabel decolorará el cabello aún más y matizarlo de nuevo. El resutado fue muy satisfactorio. One week later, and after a couple of at home hair-mask sessions,  I went back to he hair salon to get my hair bleached and toned again. I was pleased with the result.
