Aquí estoy echando un vistazo al hotel Gran Melia Salinas de Lanzarote, construido según las indicaciones del arquitecto César Manrique. Dicen que su gran obra fue precisamente diseñar la isla en blanco... Y es que confieso que odio que la costa española se haya convertido en una maqueta del mítico juego Lego donde los edificios encajan como piezas cuadriculadas. Lanzarote no es así. Quizá por eso esta isla me gusta.

I'm at the Gran Melia Salinas Hotel in Lanzarote, built by the architect César Manrique. I confess you that hate in general the spanish coust views. The buildings are without control... and several times they break the real sense of the beaches...Lanzarote is different. That's maybe because I love it!
