Esta es la frase que sirvió de briefing para las cinco agencias de comunicación a las que se encargó la nueva e impactante campaña de Jean Paul Gautier Parfums, para su línea más longeva y exitosa. Classique y Le Male, cabe recordar, con 15 años a sus espaldas, - todo un hito en la perfumería – son además la primera pareja de fragancias de la historia. Al final, la agencia Ogilvi se llevó el gato al agua, después de estudiar 20 propuestas. Lo que el maestro Jean Paul tenía claro es que quería algo diferente, por eso, buscaba a alguien no relacionado con el mundo de los perfumes. Sus anteriores camapañas las había firmado el gran Jean Baptiste Mondino, uno de sus brazos derechos. La pasión, el doble juego de la seducción y el inevitable punto transgresor tan asociado a la maison, son los punto claves de 'On the Docks' ('En los Muelles'), es el nombre de este fashion film dirigido por Johnny Green y rodado en Barcelona. Para la realización del short film, por supuesto, Jean Paul buscaba modelos, aunque como broma, antes de ver la película completa, nos mostramos un fake casting, en el que varios actores lo daban todo para llevarse el papel protagonista. Al final la bomba sexual Jarred Scott, australiano de familia con ascendencia italo-germana; y la espectacular Rianne Ten Haken, una conocida modelo danesa que ya ha trabajado en más de una ocasión para la firma, fueron los elegidos para protagonizar la obra. El fornido marinero como hombre objeto, y una damisela liberada, libertina, sensual y muy femenina, conforman el hilo argumental de “Un carguero llamado deseo” que, por cierto, se estrenará mundialmente el 27 de Septiembre, aunque servidor ya lo ha podido ver enterito. The burly sailor as an object man, and a liberated Lady, libertine, sensual and very feminine, make up the storyline of "A Freighter Called Desire" which, by the way, is released worldwide on September 27, although, myself has seen it the whole piece already.
