Kurt Cobain: Your style has no match!

Muy seguramente han visto en las tiendas suéters tipo abuelita, y looks meticulosamente desenfadados (así es porque no son coincidencia), chavos (hombres) con el cabello en colores pastel, rojo brillanteo azul... pues hay quiénes atribuyen estás tendencias a los Hipsters de la década, pero la verdad es que yo creo que los créditos de esa tendencias son para alguien de finales de los 80s e inicios de los 90s...
I'm sure that lately you've noticed the granny sweaters for sale at different retailers. and the meticulously put together "careless" looks - yup it is not a coincidence- , or guys with dyed hair in pastel cotones, bright red or even blue, and there is still who says that this trend came around thanks to the hipsters reviving their folks closets., but I do believe the credits should go to someone in the late 80s and early 90s...

Pantalones rotos y deshilachados, cabello "a la despeiné" o tipo recién levantado, tenis Converse, suadera de rallas, camisas de franela en cuadros, suéter de abuelita (o de gran tamaño), precursor de los looks con múltiples capas, lentes redondísimos, barba... y lo más importante, el conocimiento y aceptación total de su persona, como él dijo alguna vez "el querer ser otra persona, es un desperdicio de quién eres tu"... ¡Kurt Cobain tu estilo no tiene igual! Ripped straight-cut jeans, enternal bed head, Converse shoes, stripped sweater, plaid fleece shirts, oversized granny sweaters, clothes-layering expert, round glasses, beard...and the most important part the full acceptance of himself, as he once stated: "wanting to be someone else, is a waste of who you are"... Él tuvo una infancia difícil, y adolescencia complicada ya que en algún momento fue "un niño de la calle" cuando dejó la casa de su madre, está documentado que se quedaba adormir en la sala de espera de un Hospital, o en el pórtico de su amigo Dale Crover. En un documental con la historia de Nirvana y el nacimiento de Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl (ex baterista de Nirvana y líder de los Foo Fighters), habla de la ironía de como en los conciertos iniciales de Nirvana tenían como audiencia a "puros inadaptados como ellos", y conforme su popularidad creció empezaron a notar que entre su público ya se podían distinguir a los chicos populares...  como los que había en su preparatoria, con quienes sobra decir ¡nunca socializaron!Cobain mismo expresó que el llegó a pensar en que era gay porque no le parecían atractivas las porristas populares de su escuela, ni tampoco quería ser amigo de los deportistas... De allí la ironía del video "Smells like teen spirit".
In a documentary on the history of Foo Fighters and partly Nirvana's, Dave Grohl (former drummer with Nirvana and frontman with Foo Fighters), explains the irony of how when Nirvana started, the people at their gigs use to be "a bunch of misfits like us", but as their popularity grew they started to notice within the audence the "school jocks" were also present, yup, just like those popular guys in highschool like the ones they would have never socialized with!Cobain even expressed that he at some point of his highschool studies though he could be gay, since he did not find thepopular  cheerleaders in his school attractive, just as he had no interest in becoming friends with the jocks. And that explains the irony on the "Smells like teen spirit" video.
