La prestigiosa revista de crítica cinematográfica, Film Comment, algo así como elCahiers du Cinema de Estados Unidos, homenajeada con un guiño made in Tarantinodestinado a Sofia Coppola ni más ni menos que en “Kill Bill”, cumple con su tradición anual publicado un interesantísimo listado con las 50 Mejores películas (distribuidas en USA) del 2012 y otra con la 50 Mejores Películas (en este caso, no distribuidas en tierra de Obama) a lo largo de este año. Entre los críticos que la conforman los más ilustres nombres de la crítica yankee, es decir, Roger Ebert, David Edelstein, Todd McCarthy o Amy Taubin, entre otros.
