Letter to the editor: correction on the history of the trail

Many thanks to Mary Ellen Gambon for her detailed report of the January 19 Upper Charles Trail Committee (UCTC) meeting, where an alternate route was presented by the Hopkinton Trails Club. There was only one mistake in the play, but a significant one. The UCTC proposed route does NOT use the existing Echo Trail (which runs south of Granite Street along the abandoned railbed), while the alternative Trails Club proposal does.
