Ya os he contado alguna vez la mala letra que tengo. No fue siempre así, pero llegar a la universidad y coger apuntes casi a oscuras horas y horas acabó con mi letra. Cuando yo estudiaba las clases de arte se apoyaban en diapositivas, sí, sí, así de vieja soy!!! Y como consecuencia mi miopía creció y mi letra acabo siendo un verdadero dolor.
I’ve already told you how bad is my hand lettering. It wasn’t always that way, but then I went to the collage and I wrote hours and hours in the dark. Yes, I’m soooo old that history of art was support by diapos instead of power points. As a consequence I have my glasses and a bad hand writing.
Hace tiempo que quiero mejorar esto, pero nunca encuentro el momento. Quiero hacer un curso, ahora hay muchos por ahí, pero claro, hace falta sacar un rato y no he sido capaz. Así que hoy me he plantado y he decidido que voy a empezar sola hasta que encuentre el momento de ir a uno de esos maravillosos cursos, prometido.
I want to improve my hand lettering since a while, but I hadn’t found time to do it. I want to take part at one of this courses where you can learn the basics in a few hours, but wasn’t able to do it. So today is the day, I’m going to try it myself and then go to an awesome course, I promise.
Para empezar he descargado algunos alfabetos para empezar a probar y tal y como dice Elsie de A Beautiful Mess en este post, voy a probar diferentes tipos del rotulador y voy a entrenar. Me comprometo a escribir algo a mano todos los días.
To start I’ve print some samples to strart trying, Like Elsie from A Beautiful Mess says in this post, I will try different kinds of pens and train hard. I’m determinated to hand lettering something every day. Here you can see some of my first attempts.
