Hay que huir de las maderas muy barnizadas, cuanto más naturales sean, mejor. Las maderas lavadas y decapadas dan un aspecto muy costero, parecen maderas de deriva gastadas por el oleaje del mar.
Materiales como el mimbre, la soga; o elementos como las conchas, la arena, las ramas secas, hojas de palmera , incluso "basurilla" gastada encontrada en la playa puede ser un complemento decorativo perfecto para este espacio.
