En junio empezamos a impartir en mi escuela, The Crafty Room, los talleres de la Academia Burda. Estábamos muy orgullosas de que una revista tan prestigiosa nos hubiera elegido para dar sus clases en Valencia. Ahora estoy muy contenta con la experiencia que estoy viviendo.
In June started at my school, The Crafty Room, the workshops of the Burda Academy. We were very proud that such a prestigious magazine had chosen us to provide its lessons in Valencia. Now I am very glad with the experience I am living.
Trabajar con el sistema Burda, sus patrones y sus instrucciones de confección, es estupendo. Están muy bien hechos, con cada prenda que haces aprendes cosas nuevas y mejoras tu técnica y, además, los patrones son muy versátiles.
Working with the Burda system, its patterns and making instructions, is great. They are very well done, with every garment you make, you learn new things and improve your technique and besides the patterns are very versatile.
Las alumnas también lo están disfrutando, que al fin y al cabo, es lo esencial. Paso a paso van confeccionando sus prendas y se sienten muy satisfechas con todo lo que aprenden, lo que como profesora me hace muy feliz.
The pupils are also enjoying, that in the end, it is the most important thing. Stepwise they are making their garments and they feel very satisfied with all they learn, which as teacher makes me very happy.
Me gustaría captar cada momento de las clases, pero me enfrasco tanto en mi trabajo que se me olvida coger la cámara... Es buena señal, ¿verdad?
I would like to catch each moment of the lessons, but I become so absorbed in my work that I forget to take the camera ... That’s a good sign, isn´t it?
