A pesar de ser de Barcelona y vivir aquí, paso bastantes días al año en Bilbao porque la otra mitad de este blog es de allí y vamos a menudo a visitar a su familia...
Good Monday morning! I'm from Barcelona and I live here, but I spend some days a year in Bilbao because the other half of this blog is from there and we go often to visit his family...
La última vez que fuimos descubrimos el que ya es uno de los bares de moda de la capital vizcaína, Mr Marvelous, un bar-restaurante de un fuerte aire industrial con un toque nórdico y ecléctico, su interiorismo está diseñado de modo que se han sabido destacar los puntos fuertes del local (como el ladrillo visto recuperado o la baldosa hidráulica) y combinarlo con elementos decorativos (mesas de madera restaurada, diferentes sillas vintage, guirnaldas de luces o incluso mobiliario de Ikea.) Además de eso, sus pintxos y vinos son excelentes, sé que también se pueden comer platos cocinados allí, pero eso no lo hemos probado y no os puedo dar mi opinión.
Es un local muy chulo y con un gran ambiente. 100% recomendable.

The last time we went find us one of the trendy bars of Bilbao, Mr Marvelous, a bar-restaurant with a strong industrial air and a nordic and ecletic touch. Its interior is designed highlighting the strengths points of the establishment (like brick recovered wall or the mosaic tiled floor, for example) and combine it with decorative elements (restored wood tables, differents vintage chairs, lamp garland or Ikea furniture.) And their tapas and wines are excellent, I know that they also serve cooked plates but we have only tested the pintxos and I can't give my opinion.
It's a very cool property and has a great atmosphere. 100% recommended.
