Rooney mara vs kate mara style

Hablemos de celebrities, de mujeres increíbles y con estilo. En esta ocasión lo hacemos de las hermanas Mara: Kate y Rooney. Por cambiar un poco, por no hacer el tipico post, aunque intentare hacer uno del armario de... en breve. Pero mientras tanto hagamos que trabaje nuestra mente y lo haga jugando y comparando, entrando en dos armarios tan variopintos que podemos encontrar de todo. / Let's talk about celebrities, about incredible stylish women. This time is the turn of the sisters Mara: Kate and Rooney. To change a little, to stop from the typical post, although I will try to do a closet of... post soon. Meanwhile, let's make our brand work, work as a game, comparing by entering in a two total different closets.
Son 2 hermanas de 4. Las Mara pertenecen a una familia de clase alta o al menos apoderada; su abuelo era Wellington Mara, co-propietario del equipo de football americano Giants./ They are two sisters of four. The Mara girls are part of a high class or at least wealthy; their grandfather Wellington Mara, was the co-owner of the team The Giants.
A Rooney la conoceras por haber sido imagen de el perfume Down Town de Calvin Klein, por aparecer en la película The Social Neywork (o como se creo Facebook). Rooney es una actriz norteamericana que hizo su debut en 2005 con una pelicula de terror de tercera llamada Urban Legends: Bloody Mary, en dicho debut le acompaño su hermana Kate. Rooney nació en Bedford, Nueva York en 1985. Cuando era adolescente pensó en ser actriz, pero al no ver un futuro claro opto por una opción mejor, estudiar política social internacional y psicología, se licencio en la Universidad de Nueva York en 2010. Su primer debut en un personaje principal fue en el remake de A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). Y últimamente la hemos visto en el personaje de Catherine en HER. / She might look familiar to you for seen her as the image of Calvin Klein's perfume Down Town, or for her appearance in the movie The Social Network (or how was Facebook created). Rooney is an american actress which debut was made in 2005 in a bad terror movie named Urban Legends: Bloody Mary, she performed along with her sister Kate. Rooney was born in Bedford, New York in 1985. When she was a teenager she thought about been an actress but her dreams diapers to get into reality. She studied international social policy and psychology in New York University and graduated in 2010. Her debut in a main role was in the remake of the A Nightmare in Elm Street (2010). Lately was have seen her in the role of Catherine in HER.


La cara de Kate te sonara de House of Cards, en la que interpreta a una periodista intrépida. Kate nació en Bedford, Nueva York en 1983, dos años antes que Rooney. Aunque se apunto a la Universidad de Nueva York, nunca logro terminar los estudios dado que estaba muy ocupada actuando, ya fuera en los escenarios o en peliculas. / Kate's face might sound familiar from House of Cards, where she plays the role of a fearless journalist. Kate was born in Bedford, New York in 1983, two years earlier than Rooney. She was enroller into New York University but she never fisnished her degree due to her acting and performing.

El estilo de ambas hermanas es muy distinto. Rooney le da un giro al minimalismo, sus tonos el blanco y el negro. Su estilo: gótico. Su maquillaje favorito: una barra de labios rojo Givenchy.  Kate en cambio es muy femenina, le encanta explotar su sensualidad, y llevar todo tipo de colores. Su estilo: femenino. Su maquillaje favorito: ojos marcados, y labios en tonos naranja y salmón. / The style of both sisters is so different. Rooney give a turn to minimalist, her tones are black and white. Her style: Gothic. Her favorite make-up: red Givenchy lipstick. Kate is so feminine, she loves to burst her sensuality, and wear different colors. Her style: feminine. Her favorite make-up: marked eyes and lips in orange or pink salmon.

- "Rooney y yo intercambiamos mucha ropa, porque tenemos mas o menos la misma talla" / "Rooney and I share a lot of cloth, because we are relativily the same size".
- "Intercambiamos muchos zapatos, aunque mi pie es un poco mas pequeño que el suyo, asi que tengo que poner plantillas en sus zapatos cuando se los cojo. Y ella tiene que estrujarse cuando usa los mios". / " We share a lot of shoes, although miner are a little smaller than hers so I kind of have to padding on her shoes when I borrowed hers. And she has to squeeze into mine".

- "Me encantan las tachuelas, si en chaquetas de cuero, botines, y cosas asi" / "I love studs on like leather jackets, and boots and staff".

Que llevan a los eventos? / What they wear to the events? 
No hay mejor manera de ver como viste alguien que fijarse en como lo hace en los actos importantes. Es ahí cuando entra en juego el gusto, y la creatividad. / There is no better way to see the syle of someone than to look at what she wears in important events. The taste and creativity is pure at that moment.
Kate y Roony acudieron a la Premier de HER en Los Angeles. Para la ocasión, Kate escogió un vestido verde con estampados de hojas firmado por J.Mendel, y en los pies plataformas de Charlotte Olympia. A la vez, Rooney opto por un look en negro de Riccardo Tisci para Givenchy, con sandalias minimalistas también en negro. / Kate and Roony went to HER Premier in Los Angeles. For the occasion, Kate chose a leave green dress by J. Mendel, on her feet Charlotte Olympia platforms. Opposite, Rooney got a black sophisticated look by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, with black minimalist sandals.

Kate acompaño a Rooney a la presentacion de A Nightmare on Elm street. Rooney llevo un vestido color salmon de Alberta Ferreti, y Kate opto por uno de sus tonos favoritos, el blanco, con un vestido con corte asimetrico que combino con un bonito cinturon dorado. / Kate support Roonet at A Night on Elm street premier. Rooney wore a salmon pink Alberta Ferreti dress, and Kate wore white, one of her favorite colors, in an assymetric dress that match with a pretty gold belt.

Para los premios CFDA AWARDS de 2013, ambas eligieron modelos en negro. Rooney escogió un vestido asimétrico y muy estiloso de Calvin Klein, que combino con una pulsera de oro y plataformas negras. Mientras que Kate opto por un vestido corto de crochet de Dolce & Gabbana, para completar su estilismo opto por joyas de Irene Neuwirth y peeptoes negros. / For the CFDA AWARDS 2013, both worn black dresses. Rooney got for an asymmetric stylish one by Calvin Klein with gold necklace and black platforms. While Kate worn a mini crochet dress by Doce & Gabbana with Irene Neuwirth jewels and black peeptoes.

Toca promocionar House of Cards, Rooney quiso apoyar a su hermana y allí fueron las dos, don dos looks completamente diferentes. Kate aposto por el plata con un vestido plateado de manga francesa de Dolce & Gabbana, para finalizar su estilismo escogió un clutch y las mismas sandalias de plataforma que Rooney utilizaría 2 meses después para los CFDA Awards, curioso, no? Respecto a Roonet ella escogió un traje negro de Band of Outsiders y lo acompaño de unos botines de cordones con aire muy masculino. El estilismo de Rooney es muy arriesgado, es un claro ejemplo de como ser original cuando hay que arreglarse. / It was time to promote House of Cards, and Rooney wanted to support her sister, so there they went dress in a really different way. Kate bet for a silver half sleeve lace dress which hem finished below the knee signed by Dolce & Gabbana, to complete her look a clutch and the same black platform that Rooney worn for the CFDA Award two month later, bizarre isn't it? And for Rooney she went for a black suit by Band of Outsiders and to finish male lace-up boots. Rooney look is so risky that is a complete example of how to be original when it come to dress up.

Rooney escogió un vestido elegante y muy estiloso en blanco con un pronunciado escote y silueta de sirena de Givenchy. Kate sin embargo opto por una versión larga en rosa palo con pedrería y detalles bordados de Jack Guisso Couture que llevo de manera muy sensual gracias al escote que contaba con solo un tirante. / Rooney chose a stylish, sophisticated and elegant white gown with low neck and mermaid silhouette from Givenchy. However, Kate went for a long pink Jack Guisso Couture dress with stones and  embroidery details. Kate wore it in a sensual way thanks to the asymmetric neck with one suspender.

Look similar. / Similar look.
Un mismo look puede parecer tan distinto, incluso un look similar cuando se lleva con estilos distintos. / A same outfit can be so different, even if is a similar look when you wear it in a different way or styles.
- Ambas llevan el mismo modelo de Miu Miu, sin embargo parecen vestidos distintos. Rooney opta por menos accesorios y solo lo acompaña con unos bonitos salones jaspeados. Kate lo decora con varios accesorios, cinturón fino rosa a juego con el bolso de mano, y peeptoes naranjas. No veo la mezcla de tantos tonos, el negro con el naranja es bonito, incluso con el rosa se podía llevar pero naranja y rosa juntos en ese conjunto? / Both wear the same model of Miu Miu, howvere it seems they wear different dresses. Rooney goes for non accessories but a pair of cute marble pumps. Kate decorate it with few accesories, thin pink belt matching the hand purse and orange peeptoes. I don't see the mix of the 3 tones, black with orange is nice, even with pink but pink and orange together in the outfit?

- La noche refresca y hay que ponerse el abrigo. Rooney escoge el negro mientras que Kate se queda con el burdeos. / Night gets colder and its time to wear a coat. Rooney preffer black while Kate stay with maroon.

- Rooney opta por un vestido en berenjena con escote proonunciado de J. Mendel y Kate escogio uno mas largo en amarillo de Jason Wu Resort 2013 con escote decorado por trasparencias y detalles de pedreria. / Rooney got a eggplant color dress with low neck by J. Mendel and Kate decided to wear a yellow Jason Wu Resort 2013 dress with sheer and trasparencies.

- Rooney llevo un impresionante y atrevido vestido en negro de Prabal Gurung, el vestido si es atrevido pero tal como lo lleva la actriz parece que no lo es tanto. Un claro ejemplo de lo que hace ser una persona estilosa. En cambio Kate escoge el color, un rosa de Christian Dior y lo lleva con accesorios en cobre. / Rooney wears an incredible and daring black Prabal Gurung dress, the dress is so daring but in the way she wears it, it doesn't seems to. Kate goes for color, a strong pink Christian Dior dress, and she wears it with copper-colored.


- Dos vestidos blancos, dos con bordados. El de Rooney tiene un aire español, mientras que el de Kate es mas lady. El de Kate es de Peter Som Spring 2013. / Two white dresses but embroidered. Ronney's has a spanish style while Kate's is more lady. Kate mini dress is from Peter Som Spring 2013

Es curioso como dos hermanas pueden ser tan distintas, en cuanto a estilismo se refiere. Rooney es impresionante, estilosisima, tiene un estilo diferente y juega con todo. Kate es cuidadosa con su estilismo y sabe llevarlos, pero le falta un ligero toque, ese toque que si que tiene Rooney. Pero esta cambiando tan rapido su estilo, que es posible que de ese giro que le falta.  / Is odd how two sisters can be so different, specially if we talk about style. Rooney is incredible, so stylish, has a different style and play with all. Kate is more caring with her looks and knows how to wear them but misses a little touch, that touch that her sister has. But she is changing her looks so quickly, that is posibble one day she will make that turn.
