¡Hola! Espero que en los últimos días hayáis disfrutado mucho de familia y amigos. Yo he estado enferma, pero aún así lo he pasado genial. Ahora solo quiero que esta gripe pase de una vez y me deje disfrutar del resto de las vacaciones :(.
Today I'm making a different kind of post where I want to continue a chain called "Scrappy Blog Tour". It was handed to me by Yolanda Garrido a couple of months ago but I never found the time to continue (until now! :)). This chain consists in answering a few questions and then choose three other crafters to do the same. This way we can all get to know each other a bit more. So here I go!
Hoy os traigo una entrada un poco diferente en la que quiero continuar con una cadena llamada "Scrappy Blog Tour" que Yolanda Garrido me pasó hace ya unos meses y todavía no había podido continuar. Consiste en contestar a unas cuantas preguntas y después pasarle el testigo a otras tres scraperas para que hagan lo mismo. De esta forma podemos conocernos todas (y todos) un poquito mejor ¡Así que aquí están mis respuestas!
1. What are you working on right now?
I'm working on the design of three cards that I need to post on blogs other than mine within the next couple of months. I'm not actually making them yet cause I'm away from my craft room, but I'm thinking about different options that could work.
1. ¿En qué estás trabajando ahora?Esto trabajando en el diseño de tres tarjetas que tengo que publicar en blogs que no son el mío dentro de un par de meses. No estoy trabajando en ellas físicamente todavía porque ahora estoy lejos de mi estudio, pero estoy pensando en diferentes opciones que podrían funcionar.
2. How long does it take you to finish a project?
It depends on the project. If everything works out the way I think it should, I can finish my card in less than 2 hours. Otherwise, it can take me much longer because I try all kinds of possibilities until I find the "perfect" design.2. ¿Cuánto te demoras en acabar un proyecto?
Depende mucho del proyecto. Si todo va según el plan que tenía en la cabeza, la tarjeta estará terminada en menos de dos horas. Ahora, si las cosas no funcionan, puedo tardar muchísimo más porque pruebo diferentes opciones hasta que doy con la combinación "perfecta".3. Which are your favourite products right now?
I recently got some Copics and I'm in love with them! I also love sequins, good quality cardstock and word dies.3. ¿Cuáles son tus elementos favoritos para crear en este momento?
Hace poco me compré unos Copics ¡y estoy enamorada de ellos! También me encantan las lentejuelas, las cartulinas de buena calidad y los troqueles de palabras.4. How does your creative process work?
It always starts with an idea in my mind which I try to draw in my notebook not to forget it (it's a terrible drawing because I can't actually draw). Once I have that, I think about a color palette, make sure that I have a balanced design, and then start creating the project. Here is where the real challenge begins, because most of the times my design doesn't work as I expect and I need to start changing things as well as trying different options until I am satisfied with the result.4.¿Cómo funciona tu proceso creativo?
Pues empieza siempre con una idea en mi cabeza que intento dibujar en mi libreta para que no se me olvide (un dibujo terrible porque no sé dibujar). Después pienso en una paleta de color que podría funcionar, miro bien que la estructura del diseño esté balanceada y me pongo a crear el proyecto. Aquí es donde empieza el reto porque la mayoría de las veces mi diseño no funciona como yo pensaba y tengo que empezar a cambiar y probar diferentes cosas hasta que me quedo satisfecha con el resultado.5. How do you get and keep yourself inspired?
That's a good question. I don't even know! It really works in a different way every time and I'm always paying attention to the things surrounding me: paintings on the walls, corporate logos, landscapes, color combinations, pictures... Inspiration can hit me any time with one of these things. I also like to search for pictures and color palettes in Pinterest, but I try no to look at cards there because then it's difficult for me to create something different.5. ¿Cómo te inspiras y te mantienes inspirada?
Buena pregunta.¡No tengo ni idea! Funciona de forma diferente cada vez, pero siempre estoy muy atenta a las cosas que me rodean: cuadros en las paredes, logos de empresas, paisajes, combinaciones de colores, fotografías... La inspiración me puede llegar de repente con cualquiera de estas cosas. También me gusta buscar en Pinteres paletas de color y fotografías, pero intento no mirar tarjetas porque entonces me resulta muy difícil crear algo diferente.6. What's your style?
I think that's one of those things everybody knows but you. I'm pretty sure that my style is "clean and simple", not pure "clean and simple" though, but closer to that style than to any other. Maybe I'm wrong, it's difficult for me to define my own style.6. ¿Cuál es tu estilo característico?
Yo creo que ésta es una de esas cosas que sabe todo el mundo menos tú. Estoy bastante segura de que tengo un estilo "clean and simple" (limpio y sencillo). No "clean and simple" puro, pero más cerca de ese estilo que de ningún otro. Quizá me equivoco, me cuesta mucho definir mi propio estilo.And now, let's choose three crafty girls that I really would like to get to know a bit more:

3. Ro, from Veo veo scrapeo: Another amazing cardmaker that is also a charm. She always leaves really motivating messages on my blog.
Y ahora voy a nominar a tres scraperas que me gustaría conocer un poquito mejor (chicas, no os sintáis obligadas a continuar la cadena, yo la recibí hace dos meses y medio y la sigo ahora porque tengo algo de tiempo libre ;))
1. Eva, de Stamptopy: me encanta lo que hace y tenemos gustos muy parecidos, así que me muero por saber un poquito más de ella.
2. Susana, de Moltcraft: esta mujer es perfección pura con sus tarjetas, soy una super admiradora suya y además ¡ahora somos compañeras de equipo de diseño! :)
3. Ro, de Veo veo scrapeo: otro portento de las tarjetas que además es encantadora y siempre me deja mensajitos muy motivadores en mis entradas :).
