Cómo va la semana?
Yo ya estoy tachando del calendario los días que quedan para disfrutar de unas muy merecidas vacaciones. Y vosotr@s?
Mientras llega ese momento vamos a seguir con nuestras ideas y descubrimientos.
Siempre que organizo una boda o cuando alguna amiga se casa una de las preguntas que siempre me hacen es respecto a la música. Se encuentran ante un mundo lleno de posibilidades sin saber cuál elegir. Me refiero a esa música que hará el momento especial. Si te casas por lo civil puedes utilizar varias piezas durante la ceremonia, si lo haces por el rito católico entonces las posibilidades se reducen al momento de entrar en el salón donde vaya a celebrarse el banquete y la apertura del baile.
Si la pareja tiene alguna canción importante en su vida y significativa entonces la decisión está bastante claro. Pero seamos sinceros... no son muchas las parejas que recuerdan alguna canción especial que haya marcado su relación (eso es más de películas románticas). Así que surge la gran indecisión y agobio (sobre todo por parte de las novias) cuando se acerca el gran momento y no han tenido un momento libre para buscar esas canciones que signifiquen algo especial. Si cuidamos los detalles de la decoración, el vestido, los zapatos, el menú... ¿por qué no dedicarle también el tiempo que se merece a seleccionar la música?
Para aquellos indecis@s que aún no lo tienen claro os traigo una selección de canciones para ayudaros e inspiraros. Quizá podáis utilizar alguna de ellas u os ayude a encontrar vuestra canción. Principalmente las he elegido porque si prestamos atención a la letra son declaraciones de amor en toda regla y tienen un profundo significado. Todas están en inglés así que si tenéis la oportunidad mientras suena la música sería fantástico si de alguna manera pudierais proyectar la letra tanto en el idioma original como su traducción (para aquellos que no sepan inglés!), así a todo el mundo llegará vuestro mensaje de amor.

If they have a significant song that means something important to them there is no problems! But this is usually a magical moment that only occurs in films. You have to take care about all details (dress, menu, decoration, etc.) including music.
Today I have a little selection for you of some romantic songs. I use to pay attention to lyrics and what the song want to say to us.

Quizá suene demasiado cursi y muy típico, pero yo sigo sin resistirme a los encantos de Dirty Dancing y de Patrick Swayze cantando "The time of my life", para mi una elección segura!

Otra canción que me parece preciosa aunque tiene un toque triste es "I'll stand by you" de The Pretenders. Refleja perfectamente lo que una persona que te ama quiere hacer cuando da el sí quiero, estar a tu lado para apoyarte y quererte, y la amistad es la base sobre la que sustentar una pareja.
Another song that I like the most, despite it is quite sad as well, is "I'll stand by you". It is sincere friendship, one of the bases of every couple.

Un clásico que seguro a much@s se os habrá pasado por la cabeza es "The way you look tonight". Originalmente pudimos escuchar esta canción en la película "Swing time", donde Fred Aistaire se la canta a Ginger Rogers. Si esta versión os resulta extremadamente clásica siempre podéis optar por la versión que popularizó Frank Sinatra o Tony Benett. Lo importante es prestar atención a la letra.
Another classic is "The way you look tonight". The first time we heard this song was in the film "Swing Times", permormed by Fred Aistaire. Maybe is too much classic for you, so you can choose Frank Sinatra or Tony Benett version.
