Tutorial: guirnalda pascuera / Tutorial: Eastern garland

Este año mi propuesta para Pascua es esta guirnalda de conejitos y huevos.
This year my proposal for Easter is this garland of bunnies and eggs. 

Necesitamos fieltro, cintas y cuerda.
We need some felt, ribbons and sting. 

1- Recortamos en fieltro los conejitos y huevos que queramos, pero por duplicado. Podéis descargar mis plantillas aquí. Yo para las traseras he utilizado un fieltro verde más grueso, para darle más cuerpo a las piezas.
1- Cut the bunnies and eggs out, those you prefer but in duplicate. You may download my templates from here. For the backs I have used a thicker green felt, to give more shape to the pieces.

2- Para hacer los conejitos bordamos los ojos, cortamos tiras de cintas para colgarlos, las colocamos entre la parte delantera y la trasera y pegamos éstas entre sí.
2- To make the bunnies, embroider the eyes, cut ribbon strips to hang them, place them between the front and the back them and stick them together. 




3- Para hacer los huevos cortamos trozos de cinta para decorarlos y tiras para colgarlos, que colocamos como podéis ver en las fotos. A continuación, pegamos la parte delantera a la trasera.
3- To make the eggs, cut ribbon pieces to decorate them and strips to hang them, that we place as you can see in the photos. Next, stick the front to the back. 


4- Después hacemos un pespunte, a mano o a máquina, por toda la silueta de los conejitos y los huevos, a medio centímetro del borde. Cortamos un trozo de cuerda largo y colgamos los adornos haciendo un sencillo nudo para que no resbalen.
4- Then do a backstitching, by hand or machine, by the whole shape of the bunnies and the eggs, half a centimeter from the edge. Cut a long piece of strip and hang the ornaments making a simple knot so they do not slip.
