Se han barajado muchos nombres: Ian Somerhalder, Jonhatan Rhys-Mayers o Robert Pattinson, pero, finalmente Pettyfer se ha hecho con el papel.
Lo ha conseguido tras cautivar a la cámara en una de las escenas de sexo más duras de la Saga.
