Ahora que va a llegar el buen tiempo, ¿qué mejor momento para llevar esta tendencia? Los empezamos a ver timidamente el verano pasado, pero fue ya con la temporada pre-fall 2010 cuando las tiendas los volvieron a comercializar. Y ahora vienen como tendencia, para la Primavera 2011 ¿te vas a perder los pantalones capri? / Now that good weather is coming, what better time to wear this trend? They timidly started to been seen last summer, but was with the pre-fall 2010 season when the stores started to sell them again. And now they are coming as a trend for Spring 2011, are you gonna miss capri pants?

Ante todo, que quede claro, hay varios estilos de pantalón capri: / First of all, let's make it clear they are different types of capri pants:

1. Los que son discretos, y dejan ver ligeramente el tobillo. / Those who are more discreet, they are cropped slightly to show just adove the ankle.

2. Pantalones cortados a unos 3/4 partes o a media pantorrilla. / Pants cut three-quarter or mid-calf.

4. Pantalones pitillo que se doblan o enrolla para parecer capri./ Slim-cut pants that are folded or rolled to look like capri's. 


Esta última opción es mi favorita porque es la mas creativa, te permite darle a un pantalón pitillo un doble uso. Además, recuerda a  la colección de una de mis diseñadoras predilectas; Isabel Marant. / This last option is my favorite because is the most creative one and give the slim pants a doble use. Plus it reminds to the Isabel Marant collection, one of my favorites designers.

¿Con qué calzado lo combino? / With what shoes I can wear it?

Se trata de una tendencia que viene de los años 50 y 60. Entonces lo suyo era llevarlo con unas bailarinas o los llamados zapatos kitten que han vuelto a poner de moda firmas como Prada./ It's a trend that comes from the 50's and 60's. Then they use to be worn with baillerinas or the so called kitten shoes that are in too, thanks to brands such Prada.

Lo bueno de este tipo de pantalón es que quedan bien con casi cualquier calzado pero vamos a verlo más despacio. / The good about this type of pants is that it goes with any footwear, leat's see it slowly.
1.  Con bailarinas. / With ballerinas. 

Era una de las preferidas de Audrey Hepburn, y si las llevaba Audrey, es chic y elegante ¿o no? / There were Audrey Hepburn's favorites, and if Audrey used to wear them it's chic abnd elegantm aren't they?


También es cierto que por aquella época se estilaba llevar los pantalones capri con camiseta de rayas o camisa y  alpargatas, algo muy francés. / Is also true that about that time the capri pants with stripe t-shirt  or shirt and espadrilles was in, something very french.

Pero volvamos al presente: los looks actuales que combinan capri y bailarinas son frescos, jóvenes y modernos, y unos de los preferidos de celebrities como Olivia Palermo o Sienna Miller. / But lets go back to the present: the current looks that mix capri and ballerinas are fresh, youth and modern, and a favorite of celebrities like Olivia Palermo and Sienna Miller.


2. Otro tipo de calzado plano. / Other flat footwear.

En plano, también se estan viendo muchos looks de calle con mocasines o sandalias planas. No todo son bailarinas, aunque son las que quedan mejor, en cuanto a calzado plano y pantalones capri se refiere. / In flat, also are seen many street looks with oxford and flat sandals. Not all are ballerinas, but are the best in terms of flat shoes and capri pants.

3. El must-have: el tacón. / The must have: heels. 

El tacón queda bien con todo, estiliza, es elegante, femenino... lo tiene todo. Así que ¿qué os voy a decir? si ya me conoceís... es sin duda la mejor opción. / Heels goes with anything, they stylized, is elegant, femenine... has it all. So what do you say? you already know me.. yes is without no dude the best option.

4. Con botines. / With ankle boots. 

Es ideal porque le da un toque punk o grunge a cualquier look. Además es una forma ideal de llevar los pantalones capri cuando hace un poco de frio. / Its great because they give a punk or grunge touch to any look. Plus is a great way to wear capri pants when its a little cold outside.



Ellas también los llevan / They also wear them.
