"Architecture for Dogs" by renowned architects such as MVDRV, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima and more

Aria es alegre, juguetona, un poco desconfiada cuando conoce a alguien por primera vez, pero al fin y al cabo se le puede describir como un ser muy amorosa la cual ha sido mi compañera fiel en infinitas entregas de proyectos. Cualquiera pensaría que la descripción que acabo de hacer de ella es el de una persona fenomenal, mas no lo es. Aria es mi rottweiler, tiene mucha personalidad y la adoro. 
Debe ser que conozco tan bien a mi mascota que cuando vi el proyecto "Architecture for Dogs" del diseñador japonés Kenya Hara me pareció muy lógico y hasta normal, 0% excentricidades  El proyecto consiste en brindarle a cada raza de perro una casa según las características físicas y de personalidad que tiene cada especie. Para poder hacer realidad este proyecto Hara convoco a 13 arquitectos renombrados como MVDRV, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima, entre otros para que le ayuden a darle forma a este proyecto. (continuar leyendo después del salto)

El resultado son 13 casitas de perro diseñadas por 13 grandes firmas de arquitectos a nivel mundial.  Cada una cuenta con planos de construcción y están disponibles gratuitamente en la página web para que cualquier persona  pueda construirla y que su mascota pueda beneficiarse de ella.
Cabe resaltar que dentro de las 13 casas no hay ninguna para los rottweiler , pero no me importa. Para la siguiente fase del proyecto con gusto podría echarle un cable a Kenya Hara.

(English version) Aria is happy, playful, a little bit careful, but in the end, she is one of the most loyal friends I have ever had. She shared several days and nights with me working hard to finish projects and I am very thankful to her for that. I am sure most of you are thinking right now that she is a wonderful person; however she is not a person. She is my Rottweiler, she has a strong personality and I love her very much.
Maybe it is because I know my dog so well that when I saw the project "Architecture for Dogs" by Kenya Hara I thought that the idea was pretty logical and normal. To me it did not seem eccentric. The idea behind it is to build a dog house for each breed in particular. Every kind of dog, as we well know, has its own physical and personality characteristics. For that reason, Hara got in touch with renowned architects such as a MVRV, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima in order to realize this dream conceived 15 years ago.  The results are 13 dog houses designed by 13 worldwide famous architecture firms. Each house has free drawings available in the website for anyone who wants to build a fancy house for his/her pet.
I cannot deny that I was a little disappointed when I did not find a design for a Rottweiler. However, I hope Kenya Hara will call me for the next design phase. I will be very pleased.
