Ayudemos a Poppy

Esto lo vi ayer en el Facebook del escultor de miniaturas Antonio Piqui y creo que merece mucho la pena que lo conozcáis.Esta muy bien explicado y creo que no hace falta mucho mas que añadir,salvo quizas,que el modelismo y los hoobies como este van mas allá de las cosas físicas como las miniaturas o los juegos:

One of the best things that this hobby has given me has been contact with fans around the world with whom I share this everyday activity. Thus I met Poppy. Poppy is he daughter of a English hobbyist, a fan of miniatures, like many who are here. Unfortunately, Poppy is fighting with a stage 4 kidney cancer. This generates high costs of hospitals and displacements. To support financially and emotionally family a Facebook group and a campaign to collect money was created.

Thanks to Jason Martin, has offered me the opportunity to help a little more to Poppy. For this I finished a very special figure that will paint my great friend and great painter Javier González (Arsies studio) and to be auctioned later. Not going to make copies of this bust. Only be painted the original sculpture and auction off. All money raised will go to help the family of Poppy.
The figure. This is the first bust sculpted for the set of 5 busts cartoon "The Dungeon Adventurers" for TinyLeads. The barbarian. As the first bust of the set that I sculpted, when I had finished the other 4 members of the group, I realized the scale of the barbarian was smaller than the rest, so I sculpted a new barbarian (which is sold in the set of TinyLeads) and this sculpture was never released. Now i finished it and Javier will paint it soon.
When I have more information on how you are going to hold the auction, I will announce here (though if anyone is interested you can also write a private to me or Jason). No more, I encourage you who help in the campaign to collect funds or future auction this figure.

Una de las mejores cosas que me ha dado este hobby ha sido contactar con aficionados de todo el mundo, con los que todos los días comparto esta actividad. Así conocí a Poppy. Poppy es la hija de una modelista ingles, un aficionado a las miniaturas, como muchos que estáis ahí. Desgraciadamente, Poppy esta luchando contra un cáncer de riñón en estadio 4. Esto genera unos elevados gastos de hospitales y desplazamientos. Para apoyar económicamente y anímicamente a la familia se creó un grupo de Facebook, así como una campaña de recogida de dinero.

Gracias a Jason Martin, se me ha ofrecido la oportunidad de ayudar un poquito mas a Poppy. Para ello he terminado una figura muy especial, que va a pintar mi gran amigo y magnifico pintor Javier Gonzalez (Arsies) y que se va a subastar posteriormente. No se van a realizar copias del busto. Solo se va a pintar la escultura original y subastar. Todo el dinero recaudado se destinará a ayudar a la familia de Poppy.
La figura. Se trata del primer busto que esculpí para el set de 5 bustos cartoon “The Dungeon Adventurers” para mi aventura en TinyLeads. El bárbaro. Al ser el primer busto del set que esculpí, cuando tenia terminado los otros 4 integrantes del grupo, me di cuenta que la escala del bárbaro era mas pequeña que la del resto, por lo que esculpí un nuevo bárbaro (que es que se vende en el set de TinyLeads) y esta escultura nunca vio la luz. Ahora la terminado y pronto Javier lo pintará.
En cuanto tenga mas información de cómo se va a realizar la subasta, lo anunciare aquí (aunque si hay algún interesado también puede escribirme un privado a mi o Jason). Sin mas, os animo a que colaboréis en la campaña de recogida de fondos o en la futura subasta de esta figura.
