Hi everyone! Today is December 18th, and it’s a very special day for me because it’s the anniversary of this blog and the anniversary of the very first post I wrote. This means… it’s been 4 years of Flaw Decay! I find it crazy that this blog started as a class project and ended up being a very important part of my life. Thanks to it, I’ve met incredible and talented people and I’ve been able to express myself and one of my great passions: makeup. I’ve worked really hard in the last few years to bring quality content that I believe in, with honest reviews, and to show you the best cruelty-free products.
This blog has also given me the opportunity to meet new brands, some that I’ve met thanks to other bloggers and others that I’ve discovered through your recommendations. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with brands that I believe in, such as Pixi, Eco Brushes, Keenwell or Smyle. All of this has helped me shape my professional career and continue my training as a journalist by specializing in digital marketing and beauty journalism.

Every time I write I feel like it’s becoming easier to do, and I have more facility to create content. It’s not because I’ve made it simpler, but because I have learned to do it more naturally. It’s not something exactly easy to do, though many people think it is, so reaching a point where I have confidence and I feel safe with what I do is something that I value very much, especially because when I started I was a very introverted person.

Este blog también me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer marcas nuevas, algunas que he conocido por otras bloggers y otras que he descubierto por recomendaciones vuestras. Cada vez estoy “más suelta” y tengo más facilidad para crear contenido, no porque lo haga más simple, sino porque he aprendido a hacerlo algo natural. No es algo precisamente fácil de hacer, aunque muchas veces se piense que sí, así que llegar a un punto donde tengo confianza y me siento segura con lo que hago es algo que valoro muchísimo, especialmente porque cuando comencé era una persona muy introvertida.
Y sinceramente, no habría podido mejorar sin vuestra ayuda. Gracias al apoyo y a los comentarios que recibo tanto aquí como en redes sociales, he madurado muchísimo. ¡Así que gracias! Gracias a los que estáis desde el principio, desde hace dos meses, desde hace unas horas… valoro cada segundo que dedicáis a leerme. De verdad. Y lo agradezco muchísimo.
