Hoy os traigo dos novelas de las que ya os he hablado antes en mayor o menor medida y que, tras mucho tiempo en mis estanterías, he leído. *Pitos y fanfarrias* Aún queda el tercer libro, que leeré pronto. Este año. Como mínimo. Lo juro.

Estas dos novelas son el inicio de una trilogía que, siendo completamente sincera, me atrajo primero por las portadas. Sobre todo por las potadas. Lo que en principio era amor por la belleza, sí ahora lo llamamos así, le sumé una trama pasable y el reto que supuso leerlos en inglés; pero en cuanto empecé con ellos me enganché a la historia por sencilla y a los personajes por lo carismáticos. Características que hicieron de ambos tomos lecturas ágiles y entretenidas, sin mucha profundidad.Ambas autoras tienen títulos publicados en español y aunando fuerzas os darán una agradable sorpresa dando a luz a tres jóvenes adolescentes muy distintas, y es que las rencillas entre adolescentes son un tema muy jugoso. Así que aquí nos encontramos con Kat, Mary y Lillia con tres vidas totalmente distintas y miedos muy parecidos, ¿pueden confiar en sus amigas? ¿Saben quienes son sus enemigos? Y si lo saben, ¿serán capaces de vengarse?Las forman una alianza que empieza con reuniones secretas y conspiraciones para culminar sus venganzas.
Hay que decir que todo tiene un tono cotidiano y pueril, un juego de niños simple y transparente. Los personajes están muy bien construidos pero es evidente que la complejidad no es el objetivo, sí lo es que la novela enganche por ese efervescente tono con que se desarrolla la trama. Es la capacidad para que el lector se quede atrapado entre las relaciones románticas y los tira y afloja sociales. Además está ese extraño punto paranormal que tiene la historia del que hay indicios por todo el libro y se hace evidente durante el tramo final, en ambos libros.

El principal dato a tener en cuenta es que son dos novelas largas, es decir, no abarcan una larga extensión de tiempo en la narración pero tienen mucho contenido simultaneo dado que está narrado a tres voces en primera persona con perspectivas distintas de los acontecimientos. A parte de esto tiene poco de peculiar, es una trilogía con un tema muy habitual en la literatura juvenil así que no os vais a perder, la terminología es sencilla y el vocabulario es relativamente común. Las construcciones son de lo más habitual, a penas tiene frases hechas.
