(English version) From Voluar Architecture I bring today this example of how to choose the best frame of a building whose environment is not yet consolidated.
This is a police station located in the district of Fuencarral El Pardo, Madrid. The building is a urban icon in the neighborhood. It's a building which a good design, a clear volume and it is surrounded by lower height townhouses.
Colour in various shades of gray, there are another important small volumes in each facade.
You can notice that all shots in this post are taken from the same place, but moving the frame up to the sky. We isolate the still incomplete surroundings, the perimeter fence and finally, almost the lower floor.
Which of these shots do you prefer?
