Fallout 4 fue premiado como mejor juego del año mientras que The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt obtuvo los galardones a mejor historia, apartado técnico y diseño. Por su parte Rocket League se impuso en la categoría de mejor juego deportivo.
Por su parte Lara Croft dio la sorpresa en su categoría y le ganó el premio como mejor personaje a iconos de este año como Max de Life is Strange, Geralt de The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt o Evie de Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Star Wars Battlefront hizo lo propio en la categoría de mejor juego de acción.
