El invierno está oficialmente entre nosotros y doy fe de eso porque ayer pasé todo el día en cama, hacía tiempo que un resfrío no me dejaba tan fuera de órbita. Anyways, cuando llega el frío me dan ganas de sacar a la luz todos los colores oscuros que tengo a mi alcance, no sólo en vestimenta sino también en maquillajes, especialmente todo lo relacionado con los labios. En esta limpieza me reencontré con un delineador de labios que me trajeron de regalo de Nueva York porque todo el mundo sabe que si me traen de souvenir un maquillaje es imposible que no me guste.
Se trata del "Currant" de MAC Cosmetics y la elección del tono no fue pura casualidad, la vendedora dijo que era el "best seller" de esa temporada así que por eso me lo trajeron. Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue su color, una mezcla perfecta entre borravino y violeta que puede ir regulándose su intensidad a medida que se van aplicando capas de producto. En cuanto a su fórmula es bastante cremosa y de fácil aplicación pero la superficie de los labios requiere estar perfectamente lisa porque sino se crean parches de color más oscuros. Además es importante resaltar que este no es un producto de larga duración pero a su pesar hace muy bien el trabajo y se mantiene intacto por horas evitando comer y/o beber.
Winter is officially among us and I can attest to that because yesterday I spent the whole day in bed, it's been so long since a cold kept me so out of orbit. Anyways, when it's cold I want to bring to light all the dark colors that are available to me, not only in clothing but also in makeup, especially everything related to the lips. In this cleansing I met again with a lip liner that was brought to me from New York as a gift because everyone knows that if they bring me makeup as a souvenir is impossible not to like it.
This is the "Currant" from MAC Cosmetics and the choice was no accident, the seller said it was the "best seller" of the season and that's why they brought it. The first thing that struck me was it's color, a perfect blend of intense deep-red and violet that can be regulated by applying layers of product. As for the formula it is quite creamy and easy to apply but the surface of the lips requires to be perfectly smooth because otherwise darker colored patches are created. It is also important to say that this is not a long lasting product but reluctantly does the job very well and remains intact for hours if there is not eating and/or drinking involved.
