NOMINACIONES DEL SINDICATO DE DIRECTORES Y GUIONISTAS DE EE.UU. (Directors & Writers Guild Awards)

Las nominaciones del Sindicato de Directores de los EE.UU. se han dado a conocer en el día de hoy. Sorprendentemente, se quedan fuera de ellas realizadores como Todd Haynes o Steven Spielberg.

Por su parte, el Sindicato de Guionistas de los EE.UU. entrega los denominados WGA (Writers Guild Awards). Se trata de un gremio con fama de férreo, que impone normas muy estrictas para poder formar parte de él. De hecho, escritores tan reconocidos como Quentin Tarantino no son miembros de él. Por ello, muchos de los nominados a estos premios no coinciden con los que optan a los Oscar y es posible encontrar candidaturas tan curiosas como las de "Y de repente tú" o "Straight Outta Compton", quedando fuera films como "Room" o "Brooklyn".
