Nueva caja de steve hackett incluyendo la colección de sus vinilos publicados entre 1975 y 1983

Tras el éxito que tuvo la publicación el año pasado, noticia de la que nos hicimos eco en su día, de la caja de CDs titulada Premonitios, en la que se repasaba los principios de la carrera en solitario del ex Genesisi, ahora se publica la caja The Charisma Years (1975-1983), que recoge los seis primeros álbumes en el sello Charisma. Además de recoger los álbumes de Hackett durante ese periodo, se incluye un buen puñado de material extra. Pero vayamos por partes. En primer lugar la caja se publica el 27 de mayo próximo y quien la reserve con antelación la obtendrá firmada personalmente por el propio Steve Hackett. Si todavía hay alguien por ahí despistado, los seis primeros álbumes en solitario del guitarrista fueron Voyage of the Acolyte(1975), Please don’t Touch (1978), Spectral Mornings (1979), Defector (1980), Cured (1981) y Highly Strung(1983). Las ediciones de estos seis álbumes serán facsímiles de sus publicaciones originales y en este punto es conveniente decir que las de Please don’t Touch y Spectral Mornings han sido nuevamente mezcladas por Steven Wilson directamente desde las cintas originales, siendo, el resto de los LPs, otra vez remasterizados también desde las cintas originales.Además, como decía unas líneas más arriba, se incluye material inédito, siempre en vinilo, claro está, como es el Live at The New Theatre, Oxford 1979, un doble LP de un concierto ofrecido durante la gira de Spectral Mornings; Live at Reading 1981, un LP y un EP de doce pulgadas correspondientes a la aparición en el Reading Festival de agosto de 1981; y el EP I Know what I Like, una edición especial en la que se interpreta el clásico tema de Genesis en la actuación que el guitarrista ofreció en el Oxford New Theatre de 1979, al que acompañan varios temas grabados en directo en el Theatre Royal, Druy Lane, en noviembre de 1979.
