Mike Terraferma is an extraordinary frame builder who lives in south Florida. He started working as a fulltime frame builder in fall 2010, since that, he has built more than 100 frames and forks.
Mike, like most of the well known frame builders started competing in cycling races in the USA and Italy.
Some years later he start working in the aerospace industry in the south of Florida as a welder. He is an FAA certified welder for aluminium, steel and titanium. He attended to the United Bicycle Insititute in Ashland, Oregon to apply his knowledges to frame building.
One of his most impressive models is the Corsa 650 B, is a Randonneur (randonneur like a marathon, with some special rules, for example, completing the route in a given time or passing trough some checking points) optimized for 35-41 tires, with braze-ons for Paul Racer or MAFAC brakes.
The Bicycle Quarter editor Jan Heine , concluded in a review of this classic bike that it was the first bike he had ridden that clearly performed better than his previous bike, Alex Singer.

Mike terraferma es un singular frambuilder afincado en Miami. Su carrera como framebuilder a jornada completa comienza a partir del otoño de 2010, desde entonces ha construido cerca de 100 cuadros y horquillas.
Mike, como muchos framebuilders conocidos,comenzo en el ciclismo de competición, corriendo en estados unidos e Italia.
Tiempo después empezo a trabajar como soldador en la industrial aeroespacial, es un soldador titulado por la FAA para titanio aluminio y acero. Asistio al United Bicycle Insititute en Ashlan Oregon, para aplicar sus habilidades como soldador a su passion el framebuilding.
Uno de sus modelos mas impresionantes es el Corsa 650-B Randonneur( carreras de larga distancia, de un modo no competitivo), preparada para cubiertas de 35 a 41, y con tetones para frenos Paul Racer o Mafac.
Esta bicicleta clasica ha obtenido muy buenas critcas, Jan Heine afirmo “ La terraferma es la primera bici en la que he montado que claramente mejora a mi Alex Singer”.
