Chloé Spring/Summer 2009
Es posible que muchas no los recordéis, es probable que los pasarais por alto, pero los pantalones de lamé dorado de Chloé Primavera/Verano 2009 han vuelto y han conquistado la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York. Y a alguna visionaria (aka Isabel Marant) que también los versionó en su colección Resort 2014.
Aun tengo en mente aquel momento en el que abrí la por aquel entonces casi imposible de encontrar, Self Service, y encontré a Natalia Vodianova con esos pantalones a modo de jumpsuit, me pareció una completa locura, pero aquellos eran otros tiempos.
Al final todo se resume en la frase que normalmente dicen abuelas (y padres) acerca de “La moda siempre vuelve, lo que hoy no está de moda lo estará en un par de años”.
It is possible that many of you don’t remember or probably you didn’t pay attention to them, but the Chloé Spring/Summer 2009 golden lamé pants are back and have conquered the New York Fashion Week. And some visionary (aka Isabel Marant) has also make her own version in the Resort 2014 of the brand.
I still have in mind that moment when I read that issue of Self Service and between its pages I discovered Natalia Vodianova wearing the pants as a jumpsuit, it was a crazy thing for me, but well, those were other times.
In the end it is true what grandmas (and parents) usually say, “fashion always makes a comeback, what is unfashionable today will be on fashion in a couple of years”.
