Tranvía II / Tramway II

El sábado 13 de Julio se celebró el "Festival Histórico del Riel Porteño", organizado por la Asociación Amigos del Tranvía. Se exhibió la flota completa de los tranvías que siguen recorriendo el trayecto del Tranvía Histórico y quienes se acercaron pudieron subirse a las diferentes formaciones y tomar el paseo. Uno detrás de otro circularon los tranvías, haciendo su recorrido, que si bien es relativamente corto, es más que suficiente para experiementar y vivir este medio de transporte que practicamente ha desaparecido de las calles de Buenos Aires.Para más información sobre los tranvías en Buenos Aires hacer click aca.
On Saturday the 13th of July, the AAT (Spanish acronym for Association of friends of the Tramway) celebrated an exhibition of the whole fleet of tramways which they keep and restore. Visitors were able to hop on and take the short ride that they do every weekend around the streets of Buenos Aires. It is a very short circuit that they cover, but long enough to experience this way of travelling and moving around which has practically dissapeared from the streets of Buenos Aires.
