La banda de extreme metal YHWH ha desvelado el lyric video de «Hell on Earth (The Root of All Evil)», un tema que precede el lanzamiento de su próximo EP, «Khatha». El nuevo trabajo está programado para ser lanzado el 12 de diciembre de 2025 a través del sello Wormholedeath.
El sencillo «Hell on Earth (The Root of All Evil)» es un asalto furioso y directo al especismo, la ganadería industrial y la avaricia que impulsa dicha explotación. The single «Hell on Earth (The Root of All Evil)» is a furious and direct assault on speciesism, factory farming, and the greed that drives this exploitation. The band uses unrelenting brutality to draw parallels between industrial slaughterhouses and the darkest chapters of human history, forcing listeners to confront the suffering hidden behind mass food production. The piece is presented not just as extreme metal for shock value, but as a manifesto against exploitation and a reminder of the ethical responsibility of every choice.
YHWH, a Belgian/Thai black metal collective formed in 2024, stands at the forefront of the genre’s new wave, using relentless sound as a vehicle for social and ethical commentary. The music is initially composed by Schem HaMephorash and her sister C. Bones, with S.M. Goat Ritual joining the project in June.
Following their explosive debut EP, «Tetragrammaton» (released in April 2025, also with Wormholedeath), the band unleashes its second and darker chapter, «Khatha». This EP seeks to cement their status as a force dedicated to resistance through sonic brutality.
