English version: One of my favorites architects when I started the University was definitely Alvar Aalto. I always wanted to make a trip to Finland only to see his works. The opportunity presented itself to me one month ago, thanks to the trip organiced in AAS Architecture to Helisinki.
In the Finnish capital could visit several of his works, but one that I enjoyed seeing in person, was the Aalto Studio. A building designed to show its good performance, is arranged to input forces the visitor to surround the building. Natural light is an essential part of the project, which is present thanks to the large windows that pierce the facades. Upon entering the building, you meet a triple height space where presumably met with customers And the workspace is definitely the one I liked, full of light and spacious tables ... where I was curious to see the working tools of the 50s and 60s, they remain as they are today, and original models of projects undertaken by the study. Certainly a luxury ... who had one like that ... right?
Have a good week!
