collage a principios del siglo XX, cuando Pablo
Picasso o
Georges Braque lo petaban, lo hemos visto crecer y desarrollarse de muy diversas formas.
No tiene porqué ser siempre así, pero en la mayoría de los casos, estos artísticos rompecabezas se apropian de imágenes de otros artistas/fotógrafos que nada tienen que ver con el padre de la criatura. Digamos que, a lo Dr. Frankenstein, el artista del
collage toma de aquí y de allá para componer una nueva y compacta obra de arte.
Así es como trabaja
Matt Wisniewski, un jovencísimo neoyorquino que compone sus collages a partir de retratos y diversas imágenes que encuentra por la red.
Since the birth of the
collage in the early twentieth century, when
Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque were "the top", we have seen it grow and develop in many different ways.
It need not always be so, but in most cases, these artistic puzzles take images from other artists / photographers that have nothing to do with the collage's artist.
