Es época de bodas... Así que nosotros no somos menos y este fin de semana, aunque víctimas de esta primavera loca y helada (lo digo sobre todo por la señoras que iban todas guapísimas pero que entre escotes y tirantes un poco más morimos en el intento pillando una pulmonía), hemos estado de boda en dos enclaves maravillosos (tanto iglesia como fiesta).
No obstante tanta fiesta, boato, tronío y ostentación me dio mucho que pensar y he llegado a la conclusión de en las bodas como en la vida muchas veces lo más bello es la sencillez sobre todo de espíritu, los pequeños detalles y por encima de todo, el cariño.
Puedes organizar la fiesta más maravillosa del mundo que si carece de los ingredientes principales, el cariño, la magia y la elegancia de los gestos, la frialdad puede llegar a congelarte más que el viento que soplaba el otro día.
Hace ya muchos años que aplico dos máximas en todo lo que hago: la primera es que "lo mejor es enemigo de lo bueno" así que todo exceso roza el ridículo y la segunda, que secreto del éxito es el equilibrio y la proporción y que la imaginación y el buen gusto consiguen mucho más que presupuestos astronómicos.
Menos es más! Ya sabéis...

It's the wedding season ... We went to a lavish wedding last weekend and were the victims of this crazy and cold spring (I say this thinking about the ladies who all them looked gorgeous but who among necklines and strapless dresses attempted catching a pneumonia).
That crazy wedding atmosphere gave me much to think about and my conclusion is that in weddings, as in our lives, often the best are the simplicity , the little details and above all, love.
You can organize the most wonderful party in the World but without the main ingredients, love, magic and the elegance of gestures, the atmosphere can be more chilling that the wind that blew last saturday.
I apply two principles in everything I do: the first is that sometimes the best is enemy of good and the second one is that the secret of success is balance and proportion and that imagination and good taste get much more than astronomical budgets.
Less is more! You know ...
