Hi there! I'm back with a nautical card made with Simon Says Stamp supplies. As I explained a few posts back, I don't have videos to share until the summer, but I'll still try to explain how I made my cards (not my strong suit :)).
¡Hola! Estoy de vuelta con una tarjeta náutica hecha con productos de Simon Says Stamp. Como expliqué hace unas cuantas entradas, no tendré ningún vídeo para compartir hasta el final del verano, pero estaré explicaros cómo he hecho mis tarjetas lo mejor que pueda (reconozco que no se me da muy bien :))
To create the background, I used the Stencil "Bouys" with embossing paste I previously mixed with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink. The anchor was made with the "Anchor" die and colored with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide.
For the sentiment I used the stamp set "Your Light" and white heat embossed it on a piece of cardstock colored with the color Chipped Sapphire of Distress Oxide ink.
Para hacer el fondo, he usado el esténcil "Bouys" con pasta de embossing que previamente había mezclado con tinta Distress Oxide Chipped Sapphire. El ancla está hecha con el troquel "Anchor" y pintada con tinta Distress Oxide en color "Abandoned Coral".
Para el sentimiento he usado el set de sellos "Your light" y lo he embosado en caliente sobre un trozo de cartulina coloreado también con la tinta en color Chipped Sapphire.Once I had all the elements for my card, I decided to create a round frame in the middle and covered the back of it with vellum paper (that way the background won't distract from the focal point).
After that I just arrange everything on my card base and that was it!
Una vez listos todos los elementos de mi tarjeta, he creado un marco redondo en el medio que he cubierto por detrás con un poco de papel "vellum" (así el fondo no distrae tanto).
