23 de abril : Sant Jordi… un día especial

Hay algo especial en el día de hoy. Puedes sentirlo en el aire nada más abrir los ojos.
Quizás sea el rumor de los primeros libreros montando los stands de los libros que inundarán toda la ciudad.
Quizás sea el aire colándose entre los pétalos de las más de siete millones de rosas que se venderán y se regalarán hoy.
Quizás sea el latir nervioso de los corazones de los enamorados y su intercambio de libros y rosas.
Quizás sean las muchas veces que se pronunciará la palabra FELICIDADES para felicitar a todos los Jordis i Jordines.
Quizás sea por la impaciencia que siente muchos libros en su estantería porque saben que si, que  hoy va a ser su gran día y que por fin van a ser comprados, regalos y leídos
Quizás sean los pasos de escritores de todo el mundo encaminándose a Barcelona para firmar sus obras y estar un ratito con sus lectores.
Quizás porque en la calle se darán muestras continuas de amor y cultura, dos de los motores que debería mover el mundo.
Quizás porqué flota en aire la leyenda de Sant Jordi y aunque sólo por un día volvemos a creer en princesas y dragones y valeroso cabelleros al rescate.
Quizás porque es un día laborable pero parece un día de fiesta.
Sí, definitivamente hoy es un día especial:  quizás porque hoy es Sant Jordi

Today is a special day! One can feel it in the air when gets up.
Maybe is because of the rumor in the morning of the booksellers while they're mounting the stands of books which are going to flood the whole city.
Maybe is because the air filtering through the petals of the more than 7 millions of roses that are going to be sold today.
Maybe is because of the beating hearts of the lovers and their exchange of roses and books.
Maybe is because of the sound of the word CONGRATULATIONS for all the Jordis and Jordines.
Maybe is the impatience of some books on their shelves because they know that today is their great day and that at last they are going to be sold, given and read.
Maybe is because of the sound of steps of worldwide writers coming to Barcelona to sign books and to share this day with their readers.
Maybe is because for one day only one can find love and culture on every corner. Two of the forces that should move the world.
Maybe because the legend of Sant Jordi is floating in the air and we believe again in dragons and princesses rescued by brave knights.
Maybe is because it's a working day but it looks like a holiday.
Yes, today is a special day…
Maybe because today is Sant Jordi.
