Good morning everyone, I keep telling you about my experience in Madrid for three days. This post is about the second day, so if you have missed the first one you can check it here. El domingo decidimos pasar toda la mañana en El Retiro, ya que hacía un día estupendo para pasear por allí y disfrutar del ambiente. Además nos animamos a subir a una de las barcas del estanque, como buenos turistas; y yo incluso remé (orgullosa de mí misma, jaja). Estaba lleno de familias, gente paseando a sus perros, leyendo... es algo que por aquí no tenemos y me encanta.
On Sunday we decided to spend the morning in El Retiro, the biggest park in Madrid. The weather was lovely, so it was perfect for having a walk and enjoying the atmosphere. Moreover we decided to take one of the boat in the pond, as good tourists; I even paddled! (So proud of myself, haha). It was full of families, people with their dogs, people reading... it's something that we don't have here and I love it.
Mi outfit fue súper cómodo pero, a la vez, femenino. Las Converse fueron un gran acierto para caminar durante todo el día.My outfit was super comfy but feminine at the same time. The Converse were the best choice for spending the day walking around.

Después de comer tomamos un helado en la Puerta del Sol (lo compramos en la heladería Palazzo, y era enorme), el mío era de coco y chocolate; ¡buenísimo!. Después de un rato volvimos a Fuencarral para entrar, una vez más, en Brandy Melville. Allí me compré un vestido negro que veréis mañana en el post de compras. Con un vestido de Brandy Melville en la maleta ya podía volver a casa contenta :)Seguimos por Gran Vía haciendo una paradita en Lefties y llevándome algunas cosillas para casa.After dinner we had an ice-cream at the Puerta del Sol (we boughts them at Plazzo, and they were huge). I choose coconut and chocolate, ¡so good!. After a while we went back to Fuencarral to get in Brandy Melville again. I got a black dress there that you will see in tomorrow's post. With a Brandy Melville dress in my suitcase I could come back home happy :)We continued down Gran Via stopping at Lefties and getting something else.
We also visited the Mercado de San Miguel. I had never been there before and I loved it. There you can taste lots of tapas and have some drinks, you can't miss it!
Terminamos en la preciosa Plaza Mayor, que me encanta. Nos sentamos a tomar algo en una terraza y la experiencia fue un poco desastrosa. No les funcionaba la máquina del café (y yo había pedido uno), así que lo cambié por un zumo de naranja "natural" que resultó ser embotellado. Servicio extraño, poca oferta de cosas... no sé, no me gustó mucho el lugar. Volvimos al hotel para descansar un momento y decidir dónde cenar, a aunque finalmente cenamos en el Vips de la esquina porque estábamos cansadísimos y sin ganas de cenar mucho.
We finished the afternoon at the lovely Plaza Mayor. We sit to drink something in a terrace and the experience was pretty awful. The coffee machine didn't work (and i had ordered one), so I changed it for a "natural" orange juice (finally it came in a bottle). We came back to the hotel and rest a little bit. We also wanted to decide where to have dinner, but finally we decided to eat in Vips, that was next to our hotel. We were really tired!
It was an awesome day, and I was so happy for having a good weather too!, I had such a good time!
