DIVINE VISIT – SINGAPORE – AUGUST 05, 2016Bhagawan's visit to Singapore, Bali and Malaysia was indeed special, as the Lord had chosen His senior students and staff from the Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Excellence, accompany Him on this divine visit to the blessed Island nations. The main highlight of the trip was the Asia Pacific Youth Meet in Bali scheduled for August 8 and 9. In the wee hours, on the morning of Friday, August 5, the entourage who were 26 in number, commenced their journey to the airport to ringing Jaikar by the boys. These blessed students of Swami had just received their new passports a few weeks ago, and were fortunate to have their first international travel in the company of the Lord.Another memorable aspect of the trip was that, for most students this was their very first flight travel! As the flight landed in Singapore in the evening around 5 pm, the group was greeted by the Singapore devotees who have now become so familiar to all, and an absolute inspiration to many for the dedication they have for Swami's mission. Like Swami often says, there is never a 'No' in their dictionary! After spending much of the day in the airport and in the flight, the prospect of spending the remainder of the day in the loving presence of Swami had everyone quickly freshen up and rush to the venue of the day's Satsang. The evening was hosted by Sri Ravinder Singh and his devout wife Smt Kohila. Their two sons Rakesh and Sunil ensured every guest felt at home. As the select group of gathered devotees awaited for the Lord's arrival, melodious bhajans set the mood. The sudden rapturous beat of drums to the Bhangara music outside in the compound, indicated the Lord had arrived. The traditional dance form from the northern state of Punjab.... DIVINE VISIT – SINGAPORE – AUGUST 06, 2016Day two in Singapore started with a tour of the city centre and some important landmarks, which was organised by the youth, sons and daughters of the devotees of Singapore. Swami had wanted the trip to be organised for the staff and students of the Sri Sathya Sai Centre for Human Excellence so they could get a feel of the city and learn from their experiences of going around in a world class city like Singapore. As the group assembled at the Marina Bay, the weather Gods favoured the group with some beautiful weather, despite the forecast which promised some showers. The young hosts did a wonderful job escorting the group around the most famous landmarks, explaining its background and history. It was a great opportunity for the students from India and the team from Singapore to interact, exchange notes and bond. After a leisurely stroll, a ride in the MRT or Mass Rapid Transport, some shopping, and lunch in the famed China Town, the group headed back for a short afternoon rest, before heading to Sai Anandam for the evening Satsang. While the students enjoyed the city tour, Bhagawan blessed the residence of Dr Yoeh and his wife Mrs Janice. It was a wonderful opportunity to witness the Chinese tradition of welcome. The lion dance was a treat to watch and as part of the ritual, oranges were given by the lions to the devotees who had gathered. Swami said, "The lions have taught many lessons today. You cannot eat the orange with its rind. These lions also removed the rind and ate the fruit. In everyone there is something sweet and something bigger, we must discard the bitterness and accept the Sweetness. Lions also danced to give happiness to all gathered, living life to make others happy is the way they taught today". Swami thereafter commanded Dr Yeoh to address the intimate gathering, who spoke about his first Darshan of the Lord in 1979 at the inauguration of Easwaramma ....

DIVINE VISIT – BALI, INDONESIA – AUGUST 07, 2016 Day Three – Bali, Indonesia – Sai Pooja Ashram As the flight from Singapore landed at Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar, one could get a feel of how steeped Bali is in ancient tradition, and culture. Even the airport architecture reflected the ancient Balinese construction themes which was very refreshing.Going through immigration was a breeze as the group did not have to endure the long queues. Special arrangements had been made by the host devotees, and perhaps a sign of things to come when every country would accord the same arrangements to the Lord, recognising the monumental work that is underway in the spirit of 'Brotherhood of Man and Fatherhood of God'. The cavalcade, led by the police car, moved through the city of Denpasar, one could feel the warmth and friendly atmosphere even as the place had over recent times, become one of the most sought after and popular tourist destinations in the world. As Swami arrived at the Sai Pooja Ashram, a 30 minutes drive from the airport, a large number of devotees had gathered, eagerly awaiting for the Lord's arrival. With songs of welcome and dance the simple hearted folk received their Lord in their traditional way.Their moist eyes unfolded a story of deep love and reverence for the Lord, and it was a very moving moment for Bhagawan's students and guests. As the Lord was escorted into the Ashram, He settled down in the room, adjacent to His bedroom and briefly addressed His students and staff telling them of the deep love and devotion the people had for Him. He introduced the blessed couple Sri Shankardev ji and Smt Pooja amma, who had given up all to serve the Lord. Swami then asked all the boys and staff to have their lunch which had been arranged in the Ashram, freshen up and return for the evening Satsang. The evening Satsang began with bhajans by the Balinese devotees and the musicians, who had ....
