Antic for kids: multilingual and musical shows for children

These shows look fantastic. Antic For Kids! is a new theatrical programme aimed at children; a series of multilingual, musical shows that offers a way to experience different languages in an interactive environment using music and drama. The cycle consists of three original performances in several languages (Catalan, Spanish, Italian, French and English) and shown on a monthly basis at the Antic Teatre. With a base of live music, the three shows are devised for different age groups: “Osset meu & the soundbox” for children up to three years old; “Els llobatons” for children aged three to six; and “The cat, the rat and a motorcycle” for children aged between six and twelve. The aim is not to teach children languages directly but to instil in them the desire to learn languages.
Estas obras para niños parecen divertidas. Antic For kids! presenta su nueva programación teatral dirigida a los niños, espectáculos multilingües y musicales para acercarse al conocimiento de diferentes idiomas a través de la música y el teatro. El ciclo está formado por 3 espectáculos originales en varias lenguas (catalán, castellano, italiano, francés e inglés) que se presentarán mensualmente en Antic Teatre. Tienen música en directo y han sido creados para diferentes grupos de edad: “Osset meu & the soundbox” (0-3 años), “Els llobatons” (3-6 años) y “The cat, the rat anda motorcycle” (6-12 años). No se trata de enseñar directamente los idiomas sino de dar ganas a los niños de aprenderlos.
