Back from Koh Tao, Thailand (De vuelta de Koh Tao, Tailandia) By Ira & Vir

We're trying to explain our trip to Thailand in English, then in Spanish, for all our readers. This is a challenge for us, because is the first time we do it!2nd September 2010: 16 hours inside an aeroplane, for someone like me (Virginia), that hates flying, in not a pleasant beginning, event if it's for holidays! But after all, we arrived to Bangkok, where we stay for two days, one of them, with a wonderful deluge...we had never seen so much water! But after the rain, the sun always appears, and the second day we could visit the Temples in the Real Palace of Bangkok, dressed for the occasion with long thai skirts and horrible light pink shirts (see pic. nº2).
4th September 2010: KOH TAO!!! a little island in the gulf of Thailand, where we spend a week, eating pad thai, noodles, green curry; a great dinner at Chopper's (http://www.chopperskohtao.com/) with our friends I, C and E (http://www.apnea-total.com/); driving our quads on dirt tracks to arrive to wonderful beaches like Hin wong bay (perfect to do snorkel!), Freedom beach, a nice place to read a book; Sairee beach, the longest one, where you can walk and loose your friends for a moment!; Thian Og bay where you can see little sharks (we didin't...); and took a lot of pictures! By the way, oil massages are very recomendated!!
Instead of booking an hotel in Koh Tao, we stay in C's house (a good friend!thanks!). There are 4 houses in a hill near Sairee, called "Casas del Sol", a bit different between them, but with many details in common, like a swimming pool where you can see the sunset and the sea; or the Gekos and squirrels climbing up the coconuts palms near the houses! (Virginia) These holidays have been perfect: not only because of the beaches, the sun, and our friends, who were all the time attentive with us. I met in the island a new friend, a 15 years old girl called Mai, so, only to see her again, i will try to return to Koh tao.

Después de nuestro pequeño intento de texto en inglés, ahí va en castellano, para el resto de vosotros!
2 septiembre 2010: 16 horas dentro de un avión, para alguien que odia volar, como yo (Virginia) no e sun buen comienzo de viaje, aunque sea para irse de vacaciones! Y tras los vuelos, llegamos a Bangkok, donde estuvimos un par de dias, uno de los cuales vivimos un diluvio en toda regla...no habiamos visto tanta agua en la vida!! Pero despues de la tormenta, siempre sale el sol, asi que el segundo día fuimos a ver los Templos del Palacio Real de Bangkok, vestidas para la ocasión con fladas tailandesas y unas camisas horribles en una especie de "rosa-claro" (ver foto 2, estamos ideales...)
4 septiembre 2010: KOH TAO!!!!! una pequeña isla perdida en el golfo de Tailandia, donde pasamos una semanita, co miendo pad thai, noodles, green curry; una cena increible en el Chopper's (http://www.chopperskohtao.com/) con nuestros amigos I, C y E (http://www.apnea-total.com/); conduciendo unos quads por caminos de tierra y piedra, hasta llegar a playas maravillosas, como Hin Wong Bay (perfecta para hacer snorkel!!), Freedom Beach., un sitio perfecto para leer un buen libro; Sairee Beach, la más larga en la que estuvimos, donde empiezas a andar, y acabas perdiendo a tus amigas por un rato!; Thian Og Bay, perfecta para ver pequeños tiburones (nosotras no los vimos...); y por supuesto, hacer mil fotos!! POr cierto, el oil massage, totalmente recomendado!
En vez de reservar unas habitaciones en un hotel, nos quedamos en la casa de un amigo, C. Hay cuatro casas más, en un alto, cerca de Sairee, llamadas "Casas del Sol", con pequeñas diferencias entre ellas, y muchas cosas geniales en común, como la piscina en la terraza, perfecta para ver los atardeceres en el mar; o tener como mascota un Geko, o ver a las ardillas trepar por los cocoteros que estan cerca de la casa! Próximamente, la website!
(Virginia) Estas vacaciones han sido perfectas, no solo por las playas, el sol, los amigos que estuvieron pendientes todo el viaje...Allí conocí a una chica de 15 años llamada Mai, así que sólo por volver a verla, intentaré volver a Koh Tao!
