La verdad es que estaba intentando terminar las que ya tenía antes de comprar una nueva, pero no me pude resistir a la nueva base hidratante Catrice, True Skin. Pero es que a ver, ¿una base vegana y sin crueldad animal con ácido hialurónico? ¿Ahora que “winter is coming“? ¡Me apunto! Tiene una textura líquida y ligera a pesar de lo cubriente que es. Con solo una capa y poco producto, mi piel ya se ve impecable. Con muy poquito ya cubre los granitos y unifica bastante bien el tono de la piel, como os enseño en las siguientes fotos:

Tanto los productos en crema como los polvos funcionan muy bien sobre ella. También cabe destacar que cuenta con uno de los ingredientes de moda en el mundo de la belleza actualmente: ácido hialurónico. Sus propiedades anti-envejecimiento e hidratantes son elementos clave en ella porque nutren y suavizan tu rostro. Este tipo de ácido ha sido un elemento muy recurrente en mi rutina, ¡y me gusta verlo en mi maquillaje ahora!
Pero vayamos a lo importante, que es cómo aguanta el paso del tiempo, ¿a que sí?
Test de 10 horas y de mascarilla
Disclaimer: no sellé la base con polvos, aunque debería haberlo hecho porque he comprobado que queda mejor, pero sí utilicé spray fijador.
Tengo que añadir que en la tercera imagen estaba volviendo de hacer la compra, había estado llevando mis gafas casi todo el día (lo cual se puede notar en la segunda imagen, también) y obviamente usé una mascarilla mientras estaba afuera. Aquí están los resultados:

El único punto débil fue mi frente: mi piel ya es bastante grasa en esa zona, así que para ser justos ya estoy acostumbrada a que las bases de maquillaje me den brillos. También estoy acostumbrada a aplicar polvos matificantes a lo largo del día, por lo que no supone ningún problema. Además, teniendo en cuenta que usé una mascarilla, sudé un poco (me tomo el comprar tofu muy en serio) e incluso di una pequeña siesta, se ve sorprendentemente bien. Hasta ahora, me gusta mucho esta base. Hay muchas razones: es cruelty-free, vegana y la fórmula es muy hidratante sin darle un acabado graso a mi piel mixta. Durante el invierno, mi piel tiende a secarse, por lo que esta base líquida será perfecta para eso. ¡Ya lo es! También me encanta lo ligera y fácil que es de aplicar. Tampoco me está dando brotes, y eso que la he estado usando a diario durante semanas.
Sin embargo, hay una cosa que no me hace feliz. Por lo que he visto, solo hay 17 tonos disponibles. En España, aún menos. Hace años, eso de alguna manera se permitiría, pero marcas como Fenty han marcado un nuevo y diverso estándar mínimo de tonos. Incluso Revolution, que también es una marca lowcost, ha conseguido crear alrededor de 60 tonos de corrector, así que no hay excusa para marcas como Catrice.
Necesitan añadir más tonos porque la mayoría de ellos son muy claros, y los más oscuros ni siquiera lo son tanto. Es un poco frustrante porque me encanta la fórmula. Así que con suerte, ¡veremos más tonos en el futuro!
