La banda de gothic folk metal Belle Morte ha anunciado el lanzamiento del videoclip oficial de su último sencillo, «Jorōgumo». El tema representa una magistral fusión de dark heavy metal y música tradicional japonesa.
La canción es el resultado de una colaboración con tres aclamados artistas japoneses: Hisashi (koto y arreglos de instrumentos tradicionales), Reigen Fujii (shamisen) y Souzan Kato (shakuhachi).
Inspirada en el folclore japonés, «Jorōgumo» narra la leyenda de la araña demonio que atrae a sus víctimas con belleza y engaño. La pista integra instrumentos tradicionales como el koto, el shamisen y el shakuhachi con el gothic e industrial metal, creando texturas inquietantes que transportan al oyente a un viaje a través de bosques sombríos.
Belle Morte, formada en Minsk, combina el dark symphonic metal con elementos góticos, progresivos y melancólicos. Tras firmar con Wormholedeath en 2021, la banda lanzó «Crime of Passion», un álbum conceptual inspirado en la novela El Coleccionista de John Fowles. The gothic folk metal band Belle Morte has announced the release of the official music video for their latest single, «Jorōgumo». The track represents a masterful fusion of dark heavy metal and traditional Japanese music.
The song is the result of a collaboration with three acclaimed Japanese artists: Hisashi (koto and traditional instrument arrangements), Reigen Fujii (shamisen), and Souzan Kato (shakuhachi).
Inspired by Japanese folklore, «Jorōgumo» narrates the legend of the spider demon who lures its victims with beauty and deception. The track integrates traditional instruments such as the koto, shamisen, and shakuhachi with gothic and industrial metal, creating haunting textures that transport the listener on a journey through shadowy forests.
Belle Morte, formed in Minsk, combines dark symphonic metal with gothic, progressive, and melancholic elements.
