Today we are posting the party favor bags we created for our New Year’s Eve party. When we were preparing it, we didn’t even know how much our friends were going to like it and that’s why we want to share it with you today. This year, it’s only one chance left before Christmas are over to make a party favor bag like this. If your planning a party this weekend, don’t miss today’s post!
In Spanish tradition, the Three Wise Men deliver presents to all good children in the World the night between January 5th and 6th. Because of that, Christmas season is widely accepted to finish on January 6th. “El cotillón de Reyes” is a party that takes place January 5th at night, in which friends get together and go dancing either at someone’s home or in a hotel or restaurant. Some of these parties also include dinner, but what all of them include is a party favor bag full of noise makers, masks, confetti and party blowers.
And how did we do it? We had already posted how to make a noise maker some days ago, and also how to make your own photobooth accessories. We just added some tinsel, that each one of us used as desired (as a crown, bracelet, necklace…), a pair of sparklers and streamers (we don’t recommend confetti, unless you don’t have problem to clean it up the day after). As a final touch, we put everything in kraft paper bags we customized with a stamped message and closed with a sequin ribbon.
